It Works!

Took a while to figure it out and set it up, but I finally got it just the way I need it. This app is very extensive and has many options. Most importantly: it works!

Using it to control Cubase 10.5 running on a Windows 10 PC.

Thank you so much to the Developer.

20 minutes in and I like it but……

I need to be able to list any MIDI CC to a slider. I can’t see a way to do that. I’d like to know how or put my hat in the ring for this upgrade. You folks have. Very cool MIDI tool for the iPad. I have a lot of APPLICATIONS, INCLUDING museum Interactive exhibits, but I need full access to all the MIDI commands;.. in English, not in Hex. ;-O

Great controller..... Midi wifi kang

Great Start to an APP!!!

I see a lot of potential in this app.

As I've been using this a lot lately, I see some areas that could improve on my workflow and others would greatly appreciate from this feedback...

To the Developers:
Great job so far! What I love is that you can create your own layout and customize colors, text and organize.

What I'd love to see to continue using this product is how to change Midi settings, so far I have to add a lot of sliders just to find a certain numbered midi, but if you give the choice to make a slider #1-70, etc; that would be very useful! Perhaps when you select the icon, that drop down menu to adjust would have it at the top, since that's the whole point of the app is to control specific numbered ID Midi sliders.

What else would be great, is the ability to add a background image - the ability to upload my own and perhaps you can make it available for people to give away those backgrounds along with the layouts in the marketplace section.

I see such a potential in this app, and I want to see the best for your company!

God bless you guys!

Update

Please update to work with other apps please.

Shame it won't deal with my own graphics well...

After a bit of exploring, found the developer interface quite good. However, importing my own .png button graphics converts them to .jpg files, hence I lose all transparency... Even though the sample templates have transparent PNGs.

No use to me until it's fixed; a shame because it's great otherwise.

It's a good thing it's free to start out.

I had hopes for this but it not very useful. No documentation, not intuative, confusing. Click on Custom setup, gives you a blank screen, yapping awnywhere does nothing. Download a preset and no way to go back to the main menu. Can't fgiure out how it's the top professional Midi controller and designer for IOS, maybe it's the only one. It needs some work that's for sure.

Looks powerful, but too confusing

I can't see how do to the basics, such as send a certain note value to a certain MIDI channel.
Also there is a lot of hexadecimal.. I just want to see the note name like “D3”.
Short version— the interface needs work.

Great App and Support

I have used this app as a controller for my studio both at home and work, on both iPad and iPhone for over a year.

After spending some time customising a preset I was good to go and it hasn't missed a beat since.

The only time I had an issue was recently, and Michael fixed it with an update within 24 hours, which is outstanding support!

Flexible, powerful and very easy to use

MCP lets you design your own MIDI control surfaces using a visual designer that has every control type you could need. You design the look, you design the layout, you design the functionality. If you need more than simple controls you have a full scripting capability to let one control perform multiple tasks. Great tool!

I've built several control surfaces to automate my entire music production and performance needs..

I like it...

The tutorial is mid leading because I got pro and I don't see all the other stuff

Very good interface

For sliders we cannot set default value. Please provide that feature. Apart from that, it is a brilliant app. More designs for controllers (likes sliders, knobs, etc) would be appreciated.

Great app! Made a great controller to tweak macro controls in ableton. Going to be great for live, to think I was about to buy another hardware controller! and this is wireless!
I wanted to use knobs but was a bit jumpy, but the sliders(faders) are excellent :)

Awful but promising

The bad news is that after spending way too much $ (the far superior TouchOSC is far less), nothing works. Following the manual's deceptively simple Windows' installation instructions gives me nothing but errors - "non-binding port" but the manual indicates the ports are arbitrary and need only match iPhone and desktop. Plus the template config is laughably obtuse, the controls are the included templates are microscopic and the action seems wonky and uneven.

Awesome! But the bright side is: the dev is trying to pack a lot of functions in, and it seems like it he's in it for the long haul and is only just starting. Once working properly, this app looks to be highly configurable to a granular level, which seems promising. Wrote the dev about my problems, and look forward to updating my review soon.

Top midi controller designer

Easy to edit, and comes with many templates too.
