Network connection
I use OnSong for my music and when I got a digital mixer I thought I would be able to control it with midi commands from OnSong using a midi-network adapter so I was communicating via wifi. I could not get it to work until I found this wonderful app. Now it works just the way I want it to. Highly recommend this app if you want to send midi over wifi

Allows controlling iPhone from bigger iPad screen
Brilliant to quickly connect having midi control of my iPhone music apps from bigger screen of iPad. One of the developers other apps Midi Macros gives unlimited possibilities for controlling lots of devices with each button press and this Midi Control app ensures both devices are connected immediately each time you press Connect (to remedy losing connection if a device goes to sleep through inactivity). Great to see two screens at once.

Solid app from developer Oscar. He always seems to build these wonderful tools that everyone wished were available or haven’t even thought of. Once you start using it, you wonder how you lived without it, plus it’s free to boot :D

Have to give my biggest thanks to the developer of this app. In a world where so many MIDI utility apps are clunky, complicated and broken, this app does exactly what it aims to do, and does it perfectly. There’s no unnecessary clutter getting in the way, in the UI or under the hood, so the latency is as low as possible. I’ve achieved playable response times over a 4G LTE connection. It amazes me that there aren’t more apps like this one, as MIDI networking opens up a whole world of possibilities for musicians using iOS apps.

Good on iPad not on iPhone X
It works on my two iPad Pros but on my iPhone X it loads only intermittently- usually loads displays a white screen and then quits . iOS 12.3.1
