Doesn’t work
Tried with a Circuit Tracks; just says “handshake failed” when trying to connect. No updates in 2 years; feels like abandonware

Tried every single troubleshooting step and 5 different cables. No luck connecting the novation circuit tracks to this app.
A Hell of UX
Not working bidirectional. Synth 2 at Circuit not found. Overview of functions is terrible.
Worthless!
I bought the Novation Circuit Module just to be able to load Patches and Circuitpacks while on the go, but this Basic task couldnt be done. How do i get my money back? For me, this is worthless, that couldnt be tried before because loading is generally not possible in the trial...
Bluetooth is not working
App just crashes and closes immediately when hitting the Bluetooth button.

The best editor for Novation Circuit
I bought MIDISynth Control, Novation Circuit editor about a year ago. I dabbled for a while creating new synth sounds and saving the settings. I then tried to use the Novation editor and also the Isotonik Max Circuit editor. I reset the Circuit by mistake on the Isotonik Max editor I then tried to reload my sound bank back from both the main systems, with no luck. I then remembered I had created all of the sounds on the MIDISynth Control app.
I connected my Circuit and all my sounds and settings are now back. It is the easiest to use, the most reliable and given it’s iOS app nature the most portable solution, there is a reason I made all of my sounds on this app, I could sit on my sofa away from the computer, relaxed creating gorgeous, rich fully tweak-able sounds. I am now thinking of getting the Elektron editors for the Digi’s. Try the 3 day trial there’s nothing to lose.

Excellent App
It’s not 100% perfect, but it’s way better than Novations Components. Runs great on an iPad Mini 2, iOS 9.3.5, with a camera connection kit. Thanks Lee!
Essential and Amazing Circuit App
I recommend this app to any user of the Novation Circuit! This app easily allows you total control of the Novation Circuit’s 2 Synthesizers and session parameters in an extraordinarily well designed package. I can’t imagine using the Circuit without this super convenient app! Additionally— the support and customer service response for this App are above and beyond out of this world— Extraordinarily Highly Recommended!!!!

Update email sent
Hi I sent the iTunes Receipt to update email. But I still cannot use this app. The syx file still won’t load from my phone from the trial version.
Really frees up the circuit
I think the dev is still ironing out a couple small kinks, but either way, it works better than Novation’s own components software.
I can bring my circuit anywhere, plug it into my iPad with a CCK, and create patches. You can even edit all of the parameters of the delay and reverb effects. Just go over the manual and you’ll be golden.
If it feels expensive for you, just take it to McDonald’s and patch next to a $1.60 coffee instead of taking it to a 3rd wave coffee shop and ordering a $6 drink. Do that a few times, you will have recouped the cost of the app, and will also have made some great patches!
