I’m playing on an iPad and for some reason when I play my MIDI files there’s no music. The notes are there, but not the music. Can you fix this?

Hello, I’m experiencing a serious issue when importing certain complex or “impossible” MIDI files into MIDITrail. When I try to load one of these files, the BPM initially slows down drastically, and then the visuals begin to glitch. The audio eventually cuts out completely, and the playback becomes unstable — with the BPM suddenly speeding up, notes disappearing and reappearing unpredictably, and no sound playing. It seems like the program has trouble handling very dense or unusual MIDI data. I’d appreciate it if you could look into this, as I really enjoy using MIDITrail and would love to see it handle more complex files reliably. Thank you!

I love this app so much because the sound is always on. Only problem is that if I put impossible midi songs, it would not sound anymore! Thanks for reading this.

How to turn on sound: Step 1: Download the .sf2 file you want to play it. Step 2: Then, Do you see the WAVETABLE FILE? When you see that, click and pick the .sf2 file. Step 3: Make sure all ports setted 'Internal Wavetable Synthesizer'. Then Play the midi. This is how to turn on the sound.

In settings, set your wavetable file to the soundfont you prefer and in PORT A, set to Internal Wavetable Synthesizer

Excellent - solid MIDI player and the visualisation is great
Amazing app - discovered this on my Mac a few weeks ago as I wanted a MIDI player - not only is this an excellent MIDI player, but the visualisation is great.
Very pleased to find an iOS version available too. I can listen to MIDIs on my classic tone generators (Roland, YAMAHA, KORG, etc.) with a Bluetooth MIDI adapter and this fantastic app.
