Jynth feature got me here!

So Jynth has that the bass station 2 “feature” for a pseudo drum type thing, to experimental rhythm ideas. However this had the midi out need so yeah, it’s the bees knees. Also the radical physics is as mad hatter as you want, to any synth ya got. So sick and useable.

FAQ

What is MIDIx?

MIDIx is a music application that uses physics simulations to generate MIDI data. It allows users to control MIDI CC parameters and create generative note sequences through the movement of simulated objects.

What devices does MIDIx support?

MIDIx is a universal app and supports iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It is compatible with iOS and macOS devices.

How does MIDIx generate MIDI CC data?

MIDIx features 8 independent physics scenes, each generating two MIDI CC values (X and Y) from the motion of a physical object. This allows for up to 16 simultaneous CC streams for organic modulation.

Can MIDIx be used as a plugin?

Yes, MIDIx fully supports AUv3, allowing it to be used as a plugin directly within your favorite music production hosts on compatible devices.

What kind of note sequences can MIDIx create?

The Notes page transforms physics into a generative MIDI note sequencer. Objects bounce and trigger MIDI notes upon hitting walls, with various object types to shape richer, unpredictable interactions and evolving patterns.

Does MIDIx have ads?

No, MIDIx does not contain advertisements. It is a paid application with no ads present.

What is the price of MIDIx?

MIDIx is available for a one-time purchase of $8.99. There are no subscription fees or in-app purchases.

How often is MIDIx updated?

MIDIx was last updated on July 10, 2026, with version 2.0. The update frequency suggests ongoing development and support from the developer.
