MightyDash: Private Dash Cam

Turn your mounted iPhone into a simple, private road recorder. MightyDash records driving footage in short, manageable clips and keeps the core recording workflow on your iPhone. There is no account, cloud video sync, advertising, analytics, or tracking. SIMPLE ON THE ROAD • Mount your iPhone, start recording, and drive. • Use a focused, full-screen landscape recording view. • See elapsed time and live Recording Health guidance at a glance. • Keep music and CarPlay available; microphone audio is optional and off by default. FLEXIBLE VIDEO • Choose 720p, 1080p, or 4K rear-camera recording. • Choose 24, 30, or 60 fps when supported by your iPhone. • Use the rear wide or ultra-wide lens when available. • On supported iPhones, record front and rear cameras at the same time as separate clips. USEFUL DRIVING CONTEXT • Optionally show a large clock and approximate driving speed while recording. • Optionally add a city and state label to saved clips. • Display overlays stay on screen and are not burned into the saved video. LOCAL CLIP MANAGEMENT • Browse recordings by day with preview thumbnails. • Play clips in the app or full screen. • Save individual videos to Photos only when you choose. • Share a clip with the standard iOS share sheet or delete it with a swipe. • Keep 3–30 days of recording history, with automatic cleanup after 7 days by default. PRIVATE BY DESIGN MightyDash has no account, cloud video upload, iCloud recording sync, ads, analytics, telemetry, tracking, or third-party SDKs. Recordings stay inside the app unless you explicitly save or share them. IMPORTANT MightyDash must remain open and visible while recording. Calls, Siri, alarms, low storage, heat, camera pressure, power loss, and other iOS interruptions can stop recording. Camera combinations and video formats depend on your iPhone. Set up the app before driving, mount your iPhone securely, follow local laws, and confirm the on-screen recording status.
