Best $0.99 I Ever Spent
TV commercials? I pull out this game. In line at the DMV? I pull out this game. On the toilet? I pull out this game. Bored with nothing to do? I play this game.
The first video game I ever played was Warcraft 2. I played it, and I was good at it, before I could even read. Some of my fondest memories of my dad are sitting next to him as he played through Starcraft, Warcraft 3, and Starcraft 2 when they came out. Even now, Reign of Chaos is one of my favorite games of all time. I love RTS games, even if I suck at Tides of Darkness, Brood War, and Frozen Throne. And this scratches a very similar itch.
Now, this is not on the same level of depth and complexity as Starcraft. or Age of Empires. or Warhammer. or Command & Conquer. or even Halo Wars. It plays more like a pocket sized Risk with a Final Fantasy 7 style active time system. But simple doesn’t mean bad. Far from it. If anything, the developer (who I was already a huge fan of thanks to the likes of The Ensign and A Dark Room, which are also very simple yet masterworks) absolutely knocked the concept out of the park.
There are a few detrimental aspects. Visual glitches, odd control choices, the occasional hard crash when the random map spawns in a piece of impossible geometry, some unearned victory conditions, AI exploits up the wazoo, and sometimes the random maps are literally mathematically unwinnable. But for a dollar, dude, these are but petty grievances.
The longevity alone of this game makes it worth the purchase, and if I could give it another dollar I would. Amir, you knocked this one out of the park.

Disappointed
Edit: On iOS 26.1, the app does crash anymore when the opponent uses the taunt ability. Hooray!

I expected to be mildly interested in this RTS, and here I am, totally hooked. I find myself craving for the next level. I want my interest back. I need it for other stuff, like… life and… work, I guess… ⭐️ Five stars! ⭐️
Since iOS 18, the game crashes every time the AI opponent tries to use the taunt ability. It works fine when the player uses it in the early levels, where the AI never does.
Also, VS Local has never worked for me, even before iOS 18. Trying to find opponents via Bluetooth never showed anyone, even when I tried to play with my brother in the same room with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on for both devices.

Doesn’t work on iPhone 17
I love MIRTs. I’ve played it an hour every day for the past 4 years. However, since I upgraded my phone, it doesn’t work anymore.
Simple and awesome always beats perfect graphics with zero game play
Great work! Thank you and keep it coming. Please try to make strategy games on major battle events like Julius Ceasear, Alexander the Great, and Napoleon.
Needs update
Great game! Please continue to update for latest iOS
Fun
Nice way to focus for brief bursts
Top notch
Great gameplay, enjoy the minimalist and clean interface. No ads or pay to win is refreshing.
:( it’s so fun but…
Thank you for creating such a fun game! I enjoyed it so much that I even made a purchase to keep playing. However, there’s an issue I’d like to report.
When I play on the 1-star difficulty level, the game crashes in the middle of gameplay. I haven’t tried every 1-star level, but at least three of them have caused crashes. This happens on all of my devices, including my iPad Air 4 and iPhone 11. I don’t think it’s a memory or RAM issue, because the game runs fine even after long sessions on the previous difficulty levels.
I really hope this can be fixed—because the game is honestly so much fun! :)

Real quality over quantity
No padding for time, no unnecessary content. Satisfying to play and learn the optimal strategy for each of the 9 maps. Surprising amount of depth. I wish you could make the games have no timer as it’s fun to play around with a winning hand. Thank you for the lack of ads!
Game crashes
Game crashes now on random maps as soon as the taunt timer runs out.
Also please get rid of the map timer. Let the maps run their course.

Simple game, but balanced and fun. No ads, no micro transactions
Great Dev. Has a ton of other awesome games, check them out!

Computer has too much of an advantage
Looks like the computer is able to control all its dots at once. That plus the computer will always know how many dots it has in each node at all times. A bit too much of an advantage for it to be enjoyable.

Fantastic Game
MIRTS is a great game. Simple, yet hours of pure entertainment. I only wish it had a dark mode for playing at night.
Fun game
Fun game without ads
Great job!
I love it!

Killer Ad FREE game
This games long term replay ability is outstanding. 22 different levels not counting the random map. The random map has 4 speed levels, and 4 supply level settings you can set. Once you mastered all the paid levels, the random map offer a different challenge each time. I like to get outside the games definition of winning by victories and set my own goals. Win with a certain number of dots in each circle. Win with all dots in a circle. Win by enemy nuke. Win without nukes, or taunts. Win without either nukes or taunts. Win then lose in single game. Win then draw in the same game. Force a draw. Force a draw within the time limit. Or go for the ultimate and lose first, win, and finally draw. All within one game AND within the time limit. Pics or it didn’t happen.
