so far it’s a good mileage tracker. my accountant told me about it and have others using the same app. cool that it shows you price per mile deductibles

App drops out
Every time I change a trip from one setting to another the app drops out. Changing a trip from business to personal and press save the entire app closes and have to redo the trip. This is very annoying when you need to catch up on trips and have to restart the app constantly.

Drivenote Review
I’ve been using Drivenote for many years now and find it an absolute lifesaver when it comes to keeping track of business versus personal travel. It makes maintaining an accurate logbook simple and takes a lot of the hassle out of recording kilometres.
One feature I’d really like to see added is the ability to enter the vehicle’s odometer/kilometre reading when recording a fuel purchase. Having the fuel entry and odometer reading together would make it much easier to keep an accurate record and would be particularly useful for tracking fuel consumption and maintaining a complete vehicle history.
Overall, a fantastic product that I’ve found extremely useful over the years. Keep up the great work!

Great App… when it works.
I drive A LOT for someone who is not a trucker. I have driven about 70,000 miles since downloading this app, then purchasing the motion-sensing device that auto-tracks trips. I learned the hard way that, even though my iPhone is less than 15” away from the “bug,” it does not always automatically track trips. I have lost a minimum of 20% of mileage because it worked so well the first month I had it, I’d forget to check if the auto-track bug had activated the app. THAT has been a bane of my trip tracking existence.
To be fair, however, IF YOU CHECK EVERY TRIP EVERY TIME YOU BEGIN TO ROLL, the app is really accurate and works perfectly. I pay a monthly subscription for it, purchased the bug, and expected it to work as advertised. Auto-track is extremely iffy. I’ve had situations where I have forgotten to check the app a few miles away from my previous destination. When typing in that location, the app says something like, “the location you selected is too far away”. BUT I WAS JUST THERE! IT’S on the last stop, and I didn’t teleport a few miles away. My car is my office. I’m busy, take a ton of phone calls between service calls… I don’t believe it’s too much to ask it to work as advertised. But, as I said, if you do not get distracted or you get into the habit of making sure your trip has started, it hasn’t let me down in that regard. If you never want to forget, don’t buy the bug or put it auto track. Just hit the + sign and hit begin tracking a trip. It won’t cost you hundreds and hundreds of dollars in write-offs, or the cost of the bug.

I was asked to leave another review. What I said above stands. Since April of 2025, I have driven over 70K miles. I use the app every single day. My latest trip took me into Illinois, with a 7-hour drive. The first leg of that day - 3 hours - was not auto tracked. It’s part of it. I sometimes forget to check to make sure it’s on standby - if it isn’t, I just tap on track a trip. It’s buggy sometimes, but it’s saving me a lot of money for a small monthly fee (and auto track works 90% of the time - you just have to pay attention before you roll).

So easy to use
I have been trying out the app to use as a business mileage tracker and it couldn’t be easier to navigate! Gone are the days of manual entry written car logs!

Gave 4 stars sometimes it’s not auto capturing . Misse dcouple of journeys. Now I manually start and end to get accurate mileage other ways it’s 5 star app. Have to say support team is very helpful, they had recovered my deleted tracking couple of times.

Je viens de commencer à utiliser Diversnote et j’avoue que je ne croyais pas réussir à avoir une app aussi complète, facile d’apprendre son fonctionnement et qui calcul KM + Taux $.
Ce qui est encore plus génial c’est que je peux créer des rapports mensuels et le transmettre à mon employeur en PDF avec toutes les informations importantes.

This app makes it easier for me
No issues ever and very user friendly
As a business owner with 35+ yrs of experience, I’ve been great at using paper logbooks, Vehicule integrated apps (last one was a Volvo XC90), but Driversnote is by far the most accurate option I have used. This said, I believe you should trust it.

I use this in my business to track my mileage and the mileage of each of my team members. The auto tracking feature is great, no more remembering to check kms or turn the tracker on.
Team member has the paid plan so all their trips are captured and they can easily claim them.

This is a very logical and easy to use app. If it were hard to use, I would never log anything! I love it. If you write off miles. It is an application I’d recommend.
Pleasantly Surprised
You pay $11 per month. Tracks every single trip if you want. You mark if it’s private or business trip. It shows you your mileage immediately. My favorite part is that it generates actual monthly reports for you. I uber and spark.
