The first mileage app that actually fits real life

I’ve tried a few mileage trackers over the years and they all fail me in the same way: they expect you to remember to log everything, type numbers, and keep up with it when you’re busy. MileageSnap is the first one that feels like it was built for how people actually drive day-to-day.

The best part is the photo odometer workflow. Instead of guessing or manually entering mileage, I just snap a quick photo at the start and end of a trip, and it keeps everything organized. That alone has made me way more consistent because it takes seconds and I don’t feel like I’m doing “admin work” every time I park. It’s also super reassuring to have the photos attached, if you ever need to look back later, you’ve got a clear record instead of just a random number you typed in months ago.

I also like how simple and clean the app feels. No clutter, no confusing menus, just the core actions you actually need. Logging trips is fast, and adding details (like a quick note for what the trip was for) helps a lot when you’re reviewing your driving later. If you do gig work, sales calls, client visits, or anything where you drive a lot, you’ll understand how valuable it is to have everything categorized and easy to review.

When it’s time to actually use the data, the app makes it easy to see totals and generate a report/export without a bunch of extra steps. That’s the part most apps make annoying, but here it feels straightforward. For me, that’s huge because mileage tracking isn’t just “nice to have”, it’s money at tax time, and it’s peace of mind knowing you’re not scrambling or estimating.

Overall, MileageSnap does exactly what I wanted: it removes friction, keeps me consistent, and gives me confidence that my mileage logs are accurate and organized. If you’ve downloaded multiple mileage apps and never stuck with them, this is the one that finally made it effortless.

Good overall

Excellent, just missing a couple small things.
Love the photo + OCR approach and the exports. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is I’d love a few more customization options in reports (but what’s here already does the job).

Excellent app

I use this to track my personal car mileage when I use it for work. It works very well, I just take a pic and it record everything.
