Milepost is a driving journal that allows you to record your GPS routes, add photos and notes, and create visual 'Roadbooks' of your drives. It's designed for documenting memorable journeys and keeping a history of your car's adventures.
While Milepost records GPS routes, it relies on an internet connection for features like weather data and cloud backup. However, core recording and journaling functions should work as long as GPS is available.
Roadbooks save locally first, and Cloud Backup is an optional feature using iCloud Keychain. App analytics are opt-in and use a pseudonymous device ID, excluding sensitive route and personal data.
Milepost Pro unlocks older drive history, all Roadbook exports, deeper driving insights, shareable flyover videos, and alternate app icons. It offers monthly, yearly, or lifetime access options.
No, Milepost does not contain advertisements. The app offers a free tier with limited access and a premium subscription for full features.
Milepost is built for Apple surfaces, including iPhone. It integrates with Siri and CarPlay, and features widgets and Live Activities for the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
The latest version of Milepost is 1.0.1, last updated on September 23, 2026. Updates typically focus on adding new features, improving performance, and ensuring compatibility with the latest iOS versions.
Based on the provided data, Milepost has a perfect 5.0-star rating from 2 reviews, indicating very positive user sentiment among its early users.
