Settings seem off
We have a variety of Miller welder machines at my work place and the new ones come with suggested settings and various gas mixtures. The suggested app settings are nowhere near what the Millermatic 355 suggests. I believe the app needs to be updated with proper setting suggestions and have a variety of gas options. Not everyone runs 75/25.

Don’t waist your time
This app is pointless
VIDEOS
There should be videos. Don’t be lazy some people are new and a video helps a lot or a pic of what it should look like.
App is good but severely outdated.
This app will get you by in a pinch but it would be nice to see an updated version with newer settings or something closer to look like the multimatic setup where you select process, gas, wire, etc and it gives recommended settings based on the parameters.
I need more boulets!
I need to weld my nuts to the table
Not enough coverage on mild steel
The most common why are used for mild steel. It’s .030 but yet you hardly cover it
Try going to Lowe’s Home Depot, or any place like that and buy 035 wire you won’t find it but you’ll find 030

Useful, but…
A useful App, but I’m in the UK using a Dynasty 200DX; it would be nice if there was a metric/imperial units option within the App🏁👍
Pulsed Spray Arc and RMD
Do you know if/when this app will be updated to include some of the newer tech option guidelines. i.e. Pulsed spray arc transfer or your new RMD?
Brilliant
Really awesome app with imperial and metric values. Great as a quick reference and starting point for your settings.
Incomplete
There’s a lot of information available but common material thickness are missing.
Great idea, but the tig calculator seems to be rather hot.
I love this idea. However, 250A is an awful lot of heat for a 1/4in plate fillet weld. I would normally run this at around 120-140. I tried it out and it was just so much heat for this small plate. If this is user error, That’s my bad. But I don’t think I am.
Missing info
I just downloaded the new upgrade and under stick welding it gives the rod size and not the thickness of the piece to be welded?

Wether you weld all the time or now and again it’s a great app to have
Yeah, nah
So why are some measurements provided in imperial and metric and others only in imperial? I know miller is American but you are the only developed country using imperial. And the fact you have it in some options and not others is a little frustrating.
Also as I move through the menus it doesn’t actually wait for me to hit the ‘next’ button to progress. As soon as I stop the up or down roll on the selector the app just assumes I’m done and off we go to the next menu. This is more than annoying especially in the mmaw menu where the selection of rods is quite long so you have to stop sliding to move your finger up/down to continue sliding but are suddenly faced with having to go back a menu because it’s decided you are ready to progress.
If you were to improve the app I would say have an option to have imperial or metric measurements as an option in a settings menu and fix the ‘app deciding I’m ready to progress faster than a teen boy in his first time’ bug.

Great starting point
This is a great app (considering it’s free) to get you in the “ballpark”.
Everything else is up to you.
Covers the most common materials welded.

Very Useful App
This is the most useful app I have found in the App Store for welding. I do a lot of stick and TIG welding. With stick welding this app gives you the correct settings to use on a particular electrode. You just select the type of metal welding to, the type of electrode and size used, then you get all kinds of information on how to weld with that rod.
With TIG welding you select the type of metal welding, select gauge of metal and what type of weld. Now you get information on type polarity you need to run, tungsten to use and size, cup size, filler metal size, and amperage to use too. This app even tells you how fast you should be laying down your welds.
I’d have to say this app is one you can’t live without especially if you are new to welding. This app will help any new welder with setup and will help you with needed information on how to weld. I give this app two thumbs up without any doubts. Try it you will love it.

Best Reference Please keep updated
By Far the best reference - I buy Miller welding products in part because of their customer care and follow up and great educational and reference apps. This is more important in this new electronic age.
Grow with it or get out. This is why Miller has a change to keep on top.
Dear Miller, please keep apps updated so we can keep viewing them even as reference and add little new perks like clicks to direct links to learn more. but it is important to have a app as complete as possible due to there is little mobil signal in metal buildings and “ quick” reference at work is great.
I hope the app developer reads this and keeps updating and bug squashing for the new ios and other carries.
As long as Miller has apps (reference and edu) like these to use your products apps and such with good quality.
I then will be a loyal user and purchaser of Miller Products. I do feel the new generation will expect nothing but this stuff from the best and Miller will put the rest far behind.
