Miminuki: Ear Pressure Alert

Babies usually start crying on a plane once the descent begins. Cabin crew announce it, but the announcement is easy to sleep through or miss over the engine noise. Miminuki reads the cabin pressure with the iPhone barometer and tells you, on screen and by vibration, the moment the descent starts. - Detects the descent: the rate of pressure change drives a five-state machine (ground, climbing, cruise, descending, landed). When descent begins the screen fills with "Descending! Equalize now." - Works in airplane mode: the app makes no network requests. Press start once the cabin door closes. - Choose who is equalizing: baby (nursing, pacifier), child (candy, drink) or adult (yawn, pinch nose) changes the wording of the alert. - Choose the alert timing: immediately on detection, or confirmed after 60 seconds. - Pressure chart: see the last 30 minutes, and keep the chart of each finished flight. - Japanese and English, following the system language or set by hand. Leave the screen on and put the phone in the seat pocket or on the tray table. No network, no account, no ads. Pressure logs stay on the device. This is an assistive tool that detects and reports pressure changes. It is not a medical device. Consult a doctor if you have an ear or nasal condition.
