Pretty close! Love the idea <3
I love, love how the glitter moves and settles once it gets going (fairly realistic).
I also like the gong and the beginning and end as well as the ability to speed up and slow down the rate the glitter falls (similar to adding more glycerine to a hands-on real world mind jar).
However, I'd really like to see the 'shaking up' portion more graphically realistic (which is why I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars). Right now, the glitter jumps from the very top, speeds around unrelated to the amount (direction and vigor) of iPhone motion, and then begins to settle more realistically.
I was hesitant to pay for this app until I found out this company is a nonprofit that brings meditation and peaceful Buddhist teachings to the world... at a time that our world desperately needs it, in my opinion. $2 HAPPILY spent :)

mediocre graphics
For a paid app, I expected much nicer graphics than what is here. I have a real 'mind jar' and this doesn't remotely approximate it. For the same price, buy yourself a bottle of glitter glue and make a real one. Not worth the money.

This is a great meditation timer, and Fun too. I've used it a few times and have not had any problems.
