I have been using MM software for about 15 years. Mindomo is the best of those available for me. I don’t want every possible feature - I just want an intuitive way to get my ideas down and in format/colour coding that is easy to change. Mindomo does this. It’s subtley simple - but it’s clear a lot of thought has gone into the design. Also my data is stored in the EU which is important as more of my clients are demanding this

iPad version limited and clunky
Often more frustrating to use than helpful. You can’t do half of what you can on the web version Out it is at least very unclear how to

I wanted a simple mind map and this is it. No learning curve. You can use immediately without reading long instructions.
It has plenty of features, yet it’s easy.
I love it. It’s exactly what I was looking for. UPDATE: Jan 28, 2026 — I downloaded this app first in 2022. I loved it. Super easy to use and worked great. Then a little while ago I thought, well, I’m not using it much and deleted it. Then today I really needed a mind map. I downloaded a bunch, a whole bunch of new apps. All ridiculously lousy, hard to use, cost, ugly . . . Then I remembered this app, searched for it and downloaded it, again. STILL the best mind map out there. Very thankful it’s free!

Mes cartes mentales
Super pour les gens qui n’arrive que à réviser par des cartes mental, comme moi, pour les PAP c’est nickel. Mon ergothérapeute me la conseil quand on a fait le compte rendu pour le collège et ma sœur au lycée c’est e croyable c’est pour tout les niveau. J’adore. Même dans d’autre application il y a toujours des pub. Ça fait moins de 6mois que je l’ai est je n’ai eu aucune pub. C’est tout ce que j’ai à dire je ne sais pas si ça va vous aider.

Great Application with Full Customisation
Great application with Full customisation and good picture quality. The minor bugs I found was, 1. we cannot adjust positions and size of the mind map text and image boxes in some cases which does not satisfies my OCD. 2. Also there is always one box which is always selected and can’t be unselected even when clicked on blank parts in the map.

Hi! Thanks for your review 🙏. For the text/image box issue, please send us more details at support@mindomo.com (you can already adjust the image position within a topic: tap on the style icon, scroll down into the menu, and you have the section called Multimedia). As for always having one box selected, long-tap a diagram in the dashboard and choose View only.

Everything is work good for mind mapping ,just have a one request unlock the sign up feature for free customer’s too it would be beneficial for sync devices

Hello! Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear that Mindomo is working well for your mind mapping needs. At the moment, unlimited diagrams are available for free in the Device section (local storage), and the free users can sync up to 3 diagrams that do not contain resources (e.g, images, attachments/ files. Full syncing across devices requires a paid plan, as this is part of the Cloud section with additional features. Thank you!

Facile et agréble
Je cherchais depuis un moment une application facile d’emploi et permettant de créer des cartes mentales ergonomiques, ouvrant au travail collaboratif. Mindomo est l’application idéale
Parfait pour tout les niveaux d’études
J’utilisais mindomo en sixième sous les recommandations de ma professeure de français, l’interface était (et est toujours) simple, donc parfait pour des collégiens. Au lycée et en études supérieure (médecine), je l’utilisais/utilise toujours, et sa simplicité comparée aux autres applications de carte mentale m’a fait gagner de précieuses heures et m’a permis de synthétiser mes cours de manière efficace. De plus, sa simplicité n’enlève en rien son aspect esthétique, qui vous permet de modéliser votre carte mentale de la manière dont vous le souhaitez. L’exportation et la collaboration sont simples, et surtout l’application est GRATUITE.

One more option and it will be a five star
I really love the way how the quick draw feature is integrated. Mostly everything is perfect. If there were a browser image adding tool just like how its in pc, then defently its a 5 star. May be you can reduce the friction of using the tools by adding a line of tools in tool box. Then we wont be having to click on the + icon to summon the tools. Then if were more branch control it would rock. Besides if the is color fill option inside quick draw it would be amazing. Waiting to see more options. Keep up the good work.

Great app for mind mapping projects
