What's New in Mind The Door

1.1.7

August 3, 2026

What's New in 1.1.7 New - NEW: Borrowed Time! A brand new Challenge Mode built around aggressive time management. Every door decision is a race — good doors add time, bad doors take it. Fresh leaderboard included. - NEW: Settings Overhaul - individual volume controls (Voice, Ambiance, SFX), new quality adjustments, and a new Dyslexia-friendly font option for accessibility. - NEW: New Modes menu with four modes to explore — Tour (casual, no-risk exploration), Ad Nauseam (chaotic villain mode), Never Tell Me The Odds (pure 50/50, no tells, no clues), and The Duel (head-to-head competitive, in preview). - NEW: Rifts redesigned: going through a portal now takes you somewhere strange. - NEW: Daily Schedule shows upcoming daily challenges so you can plan ahead. Community-Driven Tweaks - Challenge Mode now has a Replay button on the death screen — no more back-through-the-Home-Screen shuffle. - Save your Incident Report image directly to your device. - Share your early room failures too — because why not? - New starting screen overlays for all challenges explain rules and effects up front. - Supporters system now displays supporter names as wall markings throughout The Corridor. - iPad and Mac players: UI and camera adjustments for cleaner scaled-up resolutions. - New side buffs tray for cleaner header space; tap any buff for full details. - A few new pieces of community fan art in rotation! Key Bug Fixes - Unfair Advantage volume normalized to match other effects. (No more eardrum rupture!) - Slanted door gap glitches resolved. - Clue lamp footstep timing corrected. - Door Whisperer typo and trigger behavior fixed. - All balloons can now be popped — the mysteriously resilient one has been found and dealt with. - Police / caution tape animation glitch on door open resolved. - Signal Links puzzle reworked. Again. - Lamps no longer accidentally trigger door ajar tells (goodbye, weird phantom clues). - Save slots now separated per Mode — no more cross-contamination between run types. - Unique share/incident cards per Challenge / Mode. - No Tools challenge retired — after months of balancing attempts, it just didn't fit the game's mechanics for a fun and fair challenge. - Plus a long list of visual, audio, and UI polish throughout. Thanks for playing! Discord is one tap away from the game menus — the best place to share feedback, report bugs, submit ideas, or just hang out.

This game is super interesting

the gameplay has interesting lore elements that really caught my eye. Like the items you seemingly randomly get, the pictures behind paintings, and the corridor themselves really make you wonder what the story of this place is. The gameplay itself is incredibly fun as well, with all the puzzles and random rooms. I haven’t tried out the new game mode yet but I’m sure it will be incredibly fun just like the rest of the game. Overall 11/10 should definitely be on game theory.

Excellent game for the detail-oriented, anti-ad crowd

I started playing this game to fill time, but there’s more to the gameplay than meets the eye. Attention to detail is necessary. Clues can be helpful, harmful, or neutral. As for ads, this game respects your time and attention - you can play it without clicking to watch a single one, and you won’t get jumpscared by any. The game is suspenseful enough lol The developer wants to create a game they’d like to play, and many of the improvements you experience are based on player feedback in Discord. (also, I love the puzzles in the game)

Animations?

Hi my name is zacari this game is very fun and challenging! I am just wondering could you please make an animation of our death?

AI slop at it’s finest!

It tries to be clever but instead is just slop.

Looks like all the reviews are also that. Deleting now.

Figured out simplicity is awesome

Developers got it figured out, no frills but plenty of thrills. Really enjoy this 50/50 roll of the dice! 5 stars!
