After getting a number of recommendations for this magazine and looking at the hard copy version in the store, it was a no brainier for me to purchase a 1 year subscription for my iPad. I enjoyed my free 30 day trial. Before I knew it, I received an email that I had a new edition waiting for me. I eagerly grabbed my iPad and sat down to read it when I saw....nothing or at least no new edition. Ahhhh, I need to sign in. Nope, every possible username and password combination I ever used turned up the message "user could not be authenticated". So, I tried to retrieve my username and password. The message there was they didn't have a user with that email address. Huh? You sent me an email thanking me for purchasing a subscription and another telling me the next issue was ready. I followed all of their suggestions without success so I emailed support. I was told they couldn't do anything and I had to contact Apple. It's obvious at this point that there is a problem with the app and I knew Apple couldn't help but I called anyway. Surprise! The app isn't working and Apple can't help. Apple was nice enough to give me my money back plus a couple of movie rentals. On the other hand Mindful just stressed me out and didn't take responsibility. Kinda counterintuitive considering their main focus. They've lost me completely and not only will I not be purchasing their iPad edition but I also will not be purchasing Mindful in any of its forms ever again.
