The bar has been raised for pet boarding.
Tracy and I were overjoyed by how great of an experience it was for Duke and Siah to be boarded by Mindfull Mutt while we were on vacation. It seems that boarding a dog or dogs is often just warehousing them with a promise that they will get food and water and be taken out to relieve themselves with the hope that whole experience is not too traumatic for us or the dogs. So to have the dogs played with and socialized with other dogs and posed for Christmas pictures and cared for on a level so much higher than having just their basic needs met is, in a word exceptional. It is what all of us who see our dogs as a valuable member of our family (and not just a pet )want- we just did not know it was an option.
