Very, Very… ugh!

While the concept of being an actual Minesweeper looking for Spirits(Mines) and Locking(flagging) cells is rather intriguing, the execution of this is a little… wrong… you can't open or flag cells diagonally (without chording[1]), and when you chord the revealed cells don't show the numbers until you step on the just opened spaces. And the character moves REALLY slow… I tried upping the Agility to see if I move faster, I didn't see a difference, and I truly wonder what that stat really does. After every couple of stages you encounter Psychopomps, and in order to beat him, you have to flag enough mines to defeat him, however as you clear away the tiles, he occasionally fogs up the stage, often Adding new Spirits(Mines) to chain up. The Fog WILL block your way. He can also send out spirits in random directions to attack you… Those spirits have the same move speed as you which makes them SUPER hard to avoid and can one shot you if you didn’t upgrade your HP before then just like I did. The Spirits may also appear randomly from the fog to attack you and if you don't have any escape options or you fail to react in time, you're guaranteed to take damage. The player wasn’t taught how to deal with these spirits since they didn’t show up until the 3rd boss. Another frustrating thing about the Boss is that the fog it spawns can surround you entirely and force you to make a guess on where is safe… or it can spawn an attacking spirit next to you directly attack you… I had no issues with playing the game until that point since players with great minesweeper skills can get through on skill alone, but when spirits can pop from the clouds to attack you, suddenly dealing more damage than opening up with a spirit in them, the player has no chance to adapt! Especially when Psychopomps keeps blocking your escape paths. I had to just stop playing altogether since I couldn't fine a way to clear out the clouds without Psychopomps immediately covering it up again, possibly being ambushed before I could get a chance to open up another tile… it's just so frustrating!

The game's functional at best, but the game does have other hiccups. I was able to complete all but 1 daily objectives, in which I needed to ‘Waste’ Energy… What? Furthermore, the Chests were bugged. The Free advert chest wouldn’t open because adverts weren’t being loaded/queued up. The game says that you can open 4 silver chests for free every day, but it still says that even when I waited a whole 48 hours! At least the Gold Chest works fine, as it asks you to wait said 48 hours before you can open another one.

A bit boring

Kind of a worse version of minesweeper. Small maps with dense enemies adds a very large RNG component as well, which isn’t great. Little to no RPG elements to speak of. I miss cave sweeper.
