Ich weiß nicht was mit dieser netten kleinen App passiert ist, aber ich hab sie nach dauerhaften nervigsten Werbeunterbrechungen leider löschen müssen. War mal gut, aber das ist wohl vorbei.

a simple game destroyed by greed you can quite easily lose in two moves and have to watch an advert to continue anew game were you can again lose in two moves and have to watch a new game i used to play loads of games now i play one lose and turn it off i am unwilling to pay to go pro so will have to look elsewhere for another similar game

Nothing good lasts…
I had loved this app for over 10 years. During that time, it was, as promised, a perfect mobile experience of the classic Minecraft game. Now, they’ve suddenly updated the app, ruining the aesthetic, messing with the menu options, and adding strange flagging behavior when tapping numbers. Also they’ve put in advertising and paid unlocks. The developers have abandoned their vision of bringing classic Minesweeper to mobile and are trying to scrape a dollar out of their long time users. It’s a disrespectful strategy. I’m deleting the app.

This is the only phone game I have ever spent money on. Bought it in 2010 - had finally found a good version of minesweeper. I don’t play often, but it was always my go-to on flights. I just opened it because I was curious about the recent update. I see that now they want you to subscribe, or you can keep your basic version…okay - I’ll stick with the basics - minesweeper is not about frills.
Then I see that I’m going to have to play with an ad bar at the bottom?! Well that’s annoying, but let’s try…
Try to start a game and a full video ad starts?! Come on…
Those of us who purchased the game should continue to have an ad-free experience.

Latest version is riddled with ads and some features are locked behind a paywall.
DO NOT BUY!!!
I purchased the ad-free version with no issue to play uninterrupted. They then pushed an update which put tons of ads to my ad free version so the game is impossible to play. You can turn the ads off if you give them MORE money. Scam app from a scam company. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
Charging For What I Already Bought
I paid for this app back in 2013 and now they added ads and are charging a $9.99/year subscription to remove them. What a shame.

Ruined
Loved this game, had it for years, it’s now been ruined by ads, requiring a subscription to remove them, and the subscription is also needed to unlock difficulty levels and themes. I am uninstalling and will look for another version that isn’t a money grab. Shame as the game itself works perfectly in this version.

Dishonest App Developer
I paid for this app in 2010, and now the developer has converted it into an ad-filled cesspool with a subscription fee of $9.99 per year.
On top of that, the app is now buggy, whereas it used to function flawlessly. Attempting to place flags on squares often causes nearby existing flags to turn into question marks, making it likely that you activate a mine rather than flag it. So basically, the paid app was loaded with bugs and then converted to a subscription model.
I strongly encourage anyone reading this to avoid downloading any app from this developer, especially one with a “one-time” fee. I hope this developer’s money grab for an already-paid-for app backfires on them magnificently and causes them to lose future subscribers.

Unskippable 30 second ads
I’ve had this app since high school and it’s hands down been the best minesweeper app of all. Now, almost 15 years later, they’ve added 30 second to 1-minute unskippable ads that basically make the app insufferable to use. Deleting from my devices and never installing again. So sad to see everything going down the drain like this.

Just there to take my data
I’ve had this game on my phone for years as a simple and pleasant diversion. The most recent upgrade is a shock - now you are met at the splash screen with links to comprehensive (and invasive) privacy policies and apparently a subscription requirement. This is not an upgrade but a product change and it’s disingenuous to list it as a simple update. The privacy policy is vague and gives enormous rights to the company. I’ll delete it now - there are many other choices
