Most Excellent

Fantastic game just as fun as the original and without the invasive data collecting.

Not entirely compatible with iPadOS 26’s new windowing system

Still a good game after all these years, but after updating my iPad to iPadOS 26, the app doesn’t behave as well as it should. In particular, the app no longer covers the full screen, even if you try to stretch it to do so. And when you want to exit the app, you can’t just flick it up and out of the way anymore; you now have to use the red or yellow button in the corner. I suspect they’ll never fix that, as the app hasn’t been updated in four years, but maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Good gameplay, terrible ads

I don’t mind ads to pay the developers. But I object to having it appear too often. Once per game if good. More than that is too much. If I put the game down for a few minutes with no activity, then when I come back, there is a video ad. It is so annoying that I leave the game entirely.

Got to stay alert and not go too fast!

Watch “mode” closely

Really enjoyable

Almost my favourite version of Minesweeper other than every game presents you with a section where the mine could be in either of the remaining squares, usually at the end. So you end the game on a guess rather than using skill.

Classic game, okay levels

At a certain point you end up having to guess between two squares where the mine is and both could be it because the game isn’t solvable. My luck is extremely bad and I’ve only guessed right once. Waste of time when that happens. Please fix that like maybe something that understand both are safe options due to the tiles around it

It’s fun,

I like it because it’s really fun. It’s not too complicated and I am happy when I make my record at it.

Annoying Ads - ADIOS

Tired of increasingly annoying ads. Betting ways to occupy my time online. Deleting app.

One game — one ad

Didn’t used to be that way.

Latest Update

Before the last update, I would have said this was a great game. But ever since the latest update, mine squares will frequently explode even as I hold my finger down to identify them as a known mine.

Ads are horrible!

Mindsweeper

Wonderful game. No glitches ever.

Great app

Update Version 1.46: Ad placement changed. It’s now just as annoying as any other app. 5⭐️ -> 3⭐️

Original Review: I just wanted to add a rare appreciation: I like the ad placement in this app. Placing an ad before starting a new game is the best place to do it, because I’m focused on the game I’m about to start so I won’t be as easily convinced to quit the app. Many other games place the ad after a game ends, when I’m still deciding whether I want to play another game. That little irritation is often enough to make me stop playing in other games, but in this one I feel like the ad is my small payment to access what I really want, which is another game. I do request that you remove all ads that play sound automatically. It’s a huge turn off for an ad to stop the background music I was playing with.

I’m useless

At this kind of game, but defiantly got my interest. When I go to my usual games, I keep wanting to come back to this one , GREAT

Minesweeper

One of the most addictive and frustrating games you’ll ever come across. My biggest gripe is that for 90% of the games you’ll end up with two squares left with one mine, making it a 50/50 chance of picking the right one. Strange how I seem to pick the wrong one about 8 out of 10.

Mine

An old game that just never gets old. Still entertaining after all these years. I like the different screens for a change of color and environment and excitement.

Distracting Ads

It started last week with distracting slot machine as at the bottom of the screen that continue to roll and flash while you’re trying to solve the puzzle. Now I can’t even access the puzzles because it’s stuck on an ad for poker. Every time I try and hit the X to close the ad it takes me to a website. So I’m no longer able to play the game until I guess I have to delete this app and reload it to get that ad off the screen to allow me to play. Except for that I’m having a blast with it.

Good but not perfect

The game is not 100% logic and success relies on guesswork at some stages.

Very good

Classic minesweeper exactly like I wanted.
