Doesn’t let me log in
I downloaded this app and I keep getting stuck on the screen “our newcomers event tailored for you.” Nothing happens and the skip button doesn’t work. Guess I won’t be able to use this app. (This has happened across several days I have attempted).
Started out good
Mingle IRL started as a fun concept, but after talking to the founder, it sounded like every other platform that starts free to gain users, then transitions to a paid model. In Orange County, there are 3 events. 1 is in the wrong area, 1 isn’t actually going to happen and the last is a month from now. The chat is unmoderated with really trashy people making lewd comments and others threatening violence.

Events are few and far between
Very few events and the ones they have don’t have very many people. Literally two events all summer in nyc. Glad I signed up for the free trial—certainly not worth paying any $$$ for the subscription. There are plenty of free apps out there with the same concept and more events.
Unauthorized charged
I cancel my “subscription” within 24 hours and they still charged me.
Great app, even better irl experience!
I recently moved to NYC and have been wanting to play pickle ball for months but haven’t had the opportunity. I came across a pickleball event on this app and had the best time!! 🏓 highly recommend checking out the events if you’re looking to meet new people in a new city 🌃

Taking the “media” out of social media
Humanity spends way too much time these days with their heads down poking away at their phones. So much so that we’re forgetting how to socialize with each other in real life. Mingle is the solution to this problem! Leveraging the power of this technology to bring us together in the real world.
Best social group
I’ve met the nicest people in Mingle IRL. It’s a great concept that is equally great in its execution. Anyone who is single, divorced, or even married folks looking to make new friends or have new experiences can benefit.

I would highly recommend Mingle to anyone looking to expand their social circle and connect with others. The app is well designed, easy to use, and offers a great way to meet people.

California Ladies
It is in Mingle IRL where I met a solid group of women and men who enjoy a lot of similar interests. From pickleball, to bonfire, hikes, live bands, stand-up comedy and out-of-town trips. I give credit to Mingle IRL APP my amazing experience of activities in places I’ve never have planned doing alone. I truly appreciate having members share and organize events that I can read through the descriptions of what to expect and be encouraged that I will join with other old friends and meet new ones. It’s through Mingle IRL that I had the best time at the epic music of DJ ZEDD at the TAO Beachclub in Venetian Las Vegas, Catalina Ferry-ride, beach and trails in the island, Oktoberfest La Mesa with CassieB band and my first experience of Vicolo Del Vino italian wine tasting in BellaVita Little italy and many more events especially dancing with awesome bands with members who started just as acquaintances and now true great friends!

Best thing that came into my life!
I’ve met the best people! So fun, welcoming and kind! I’m transitioning to being an empty nester and wanted to do interesting things with cool people and I found it! There’s something to do almost every day and my weekends have so many fun options on what to do and where to go. The activities are varied and are getting me to try new things, like going paragliding! It’s not a dating app so there’s no pressure on that. But if you happen to meet someone that’s cool too. But it’s definitely not the focus of the gatherings. And best of all I’ve met some new great friends! If you’re looking to meet new people and explore the city you’re in, download the app. You won’t regret it!

The management reads all messages between members and there is no privacy policy. They think they are from France so California laws don’t apply. They will abuse your account by taking it over, assuming your identity. When you complain of racist, sexist attacks from other members, they will make the evidence disappear. They will create falsified documents to ban members who complain and those who don’t agree to look the other way. Karens thrive here with full support from the management. The app itself is nothing more than an online notice board to post events. Members pay, member do all the work to create events, but are still constantly bullied by management in this alternate universe they are trying to create. They are banking on the fact that most who join are lonely, have had hardships in life and hunger for companionship. They are using this to build their empire. Use your phones, make friends in real life, don’t get conned into paying them $19.99 a month to be their slaves and enrich the very people who will abuse you in a heartbeat. Many of the original members have left in frustration and anger. You are next! 👉🏼
A programmer at the company who is friends with the miscreants removed my access to the app in direct retaliation against me filing complaints (along with dozens of fellow users) against verbal and physically abusive treatment by an employee of Mingle and his friends. Online chats were doctored by the programmer/s to create false statements as a cover up.
Previously, abusive behaviors by a group of miscreants had been repeatedly brought to the attention of management, whose response was “we don’t care”. Repeated complaints not just by me but by a large group of members were ignored, and evidence deleted because the trouble makers happen to be personal friends of the developers. Since then , the main developer apologized to several members in writing, stating he made a mistake by permitting the programmer to “ban” me and asked me to come back to the app if I wanted to. This was conveyed to me via multiple users after they questioned the developer over several meetings about how unfairly and abhorrently I had been treated.

This user has been reported by multiple users over several weeks and multiple events. He has been violating our guidelines after several warnings, which is why we have banned him. This user has been granted free access to the app since the beginning but is complaining about the price.
