A Truly Revolutionary App
Do you want Hazoor Shaykul-Islam’s fatwas, speeches and an accurate Quran translation right at your fingertips then look no further than this app.
Within the few Hours of using The Minhaj Islamic Encyclopedia I wanted to share my experience of things I liked and things I think could be done better
Features :
Very easy accessibility, each category has its own section and is labelled very clearly to avoid any confusion on what you are searching
Also I love the idea of a search engine mashallah on every topic I have searched it has provided accurate searches relating to that topic
The translation has proved to be very useful when reading the Quran as it allows me to understand the weight of the words I’m uttering and have a deeper connection with the Quran
I also love the speech to text functionality of the Quran as if I’m looking for a certain part of the Quran but I can’t recall where it is I can see this being extremely useful
Things that can be done better:
Despite all the things that I love there are some things that can be better improved in my eyes
First of all I would like a Quran “only” mode in which if I wished to just read the Quran digitally I could do so similiar to other standalone Quran apps already present on AppStore/play store, along with this I would like to have some customisation that can be tailored to an individuals preferences this would include: Being able to the change the amount of lines for instance if you prefer 16 lines or 14 lines etc , to be able to change the colour of the Quran verses which are currently red which I personally don’t prefer to something like black and I would want a tajweed colour coded version aswell along with this I would also like the ability to change the background to something more reminiscent of an actual Quran such as white
Another thing I don’t know if it’s due to the app ,an internal coding error or maybe I’m doing something wrong but when attempting to use the speech to text Quran feature i hold the button read the verse and release but then it brings up a smaller window where it states my language and then says to do it again . Regardless I would like the issue to be resolved
Overall I love the app and all its features especially for being launched only a few hours ago at the time of writing . Anyone reading this review who hasn’t downloaded the App I recommend you to do so as it is truly revolutionary
