Amazing!
I like this game, because it is super simple and does not require internet. There’s just something about its simplicity that I adore. The fact that you get no reward for winning and no punishment for losing is honestly pretty neat. It’s clear they just want you to have fun. Good app, I definitely recommend it!

Good game?
I like this game. I’m sure there are better 5x5 chess games out there, but I like this one, because the “Expert” setting is way too easy. I like destroying the AI over and over again.

There were a couple minor bugs, like randomly reporting that first move as black is illegal. Usually not an issue. I think it would be cool to add more tinychess variants, like 6x6

This app is exactly what it says it is. Mini chess. Should it be a thing? Probably not. Is it fun though? Absolutely not.

Very useful for visualization
Interesting concept! Found it very useful. I think it would be very beneficial to add a training button to teach users winning variations. 5 months later & still like it. I think that it would be even more effective if at the end of the game, the user could replay the completed game in its entirety win or lose.

Great little twist on the classic game of chess. I really enjoy the different game modes!
I’ve noticed a few bugs, however:
(1) the text in app doesn’t display properly when I have dark mode enabled on my phone
(2) when I try to make an illegal move, the game gives you a warning, which sometimes doesn’t leave.
