What's New in Mini Courtroom

1.5

September 2, 2026

Thanks for playing Mini Courtroom! We heard your feedback and made a major pass on case clarity and fairness. • Case briefs now clearly explain the dispute and the exact question you’re ruling on. • Testimony has been reworked to sound more natural, reduce repeated phrasing, and stay focused on the facts. • Required evidence now remains available while you deliberate, there’s no need to rush or risk missing an important clue. • Removed predictable witness-order and wording patterns that could give away the correct verdict. • Cross-exam questions and answer choices now use clearer grammar and more direct wording. • Improved evidence explanations so each ruling follows more clearly from the information presented. Thank you to everyone who shared detailed feedback. It directly helped us make Mini Courtroom clearer, fairer, and more enjoyable to judge.

Doesn’t make sense

The game doesn’t make any sense. Every case has the same language for witness statements. Not enough context is given to rule. Evidence is suppressed if you don’t select quick enough. I eventually figured out guilty or not guilty aligned with the third witness testimony based on which of two sentences it used.

Response from developer

Thank you for the detailed feedback! We’ve updated Mini Courtroom with clearer case briefs, more natural and varied testimony, and enough context to make a fair ruling. Required evidence now stays available while you deliberate, and we removed the predictable witness-order wording that could reveal the verdict. Cross-Exam questions were also rewritten for clarity. Please try the latest version and let us know how the cases feel now.
