If you’re looking for a brief time waster, brain reset, it’s works just fine. Clearly, it was programmed by folks who never touched a football, though, as the team mechanics will leave you scratching your head.
And why does the control player not automatically switch to the one closest to the ball? That gets incredibly confusing as you think you’re doing something useful but, in reality, you’re moving a player not even visible while the programming does its “never-seen-this-before” routine.

Players run wrong direction and game is repetitive
Game is super repetitive and the players run the wrong direction when you control them, they’ll randomly go out of bounds or run towards your own goal. Even on the hardest difficulty the game has no nuance and feels repetitive after a couple games
How is this an arcade game?
I download the game hoping to get a few minutes of soccer time in with this "arcade" game only to be presented with no option for a quick game but instead of having to go through the process of creating a team from scratch. A complete waste of time.

Fun but buggy
Hire a legendary coach mission does not give credit. Had like 2 hours of work erased somehow. I logged in today and I noticed 2 of my players were not max upgrades like I had them.

1. Played on AppleTV with controller but reviewed on iPhone. Couldn’t LEAVE REVIEW without downloading to iPhone. 2. In Tournament screen cannot unlock Imperial Champion Cup despite winning league one three times. Wondering if it’s because I chose to play in Italy not UK and you can only unlock in UK because the trophy is called something different in every region. 3. Tested theory in point two by creating a new career. Creating a second career would not advance beyond “training.” Also wouldn’t let me quit out of training, so I had to restart AppleTV and delete second career. 4. Gameplay is okay but like other similar games, the “difficulty level” is BS. It’s EASY or NORMAL unless it doesn’t want to be. By example, a team can cruise through a Global Cup until a semi or a final then all the sudden the same team you’ve been using for 8 straight games dominating at four goals a game can no longer get one shot on goal against a team that is equal or less in overall skill. 5. Mini Games screen is a great example proving the point about difficulty level. The Lucky Shot screen comes with no tutorial and even when you figure it out the joystick control is inconsistent. The Challenge screen is ridiculously impossible and the rewards (compared to just playing through a career on Easy or Normal) are not worth the effort.
One star for making me download it twice to leave a review. Two stars in current condition. That said, this game is a 3* game if bugs are fixed, but won’t ever be more than that. Once you win all the trophies and all your players are maxed out, it’s pretty much over. Fun for killing time on the weekend but nothing I’d log hours on.

Fun but save system is buggy
I enjoy the game as a simple football game and team builder, but I’m growing increasingly frustrated by the number of times I open the game and find it didn’t save anything I did the day before. My team is reset to some older version and I’m way farther back on the number of games played. Doesn’t feel great to have to redo those, especially when the club seasons are so long with so many games.

It is a great game, but my career has come to a halt. The game freezes and becomes unresponsive at the start of my next match. ☹️
