Kudos to the brains behind Minifig Scan. This is the first review I’ve ever made for an app because it’s saved me so much time and money being able to know what Minifigs are in the CMF blind boxes. Coming from someone who used to manually feel each poly bag by hand this is a game changer. I’d happily watch a 5 second ad before being able to use the app just so the devs can make some ad revenue for how good this thing works. Y’all are doing the lords work with this app. Thank you for saving us all a ton of money and headache.

Fantastic money saving app
What a great app ! This is so well put together and saved me a fortune recently when collecting the recent Shrek minifigs. Normally I would have to over buy or pay inflated pieces to complete my collection, but this app let me get all 12 first time. Well done guys ! Keep up the great work !

Scanner usually works but misread two boxes on Shrek MF series.
UPDATE: developer contacted me to explain that sometimes Lego boxes get swapped in the factory leading to a misidentification. Which makes sense because this app has always worked for me. So I’m changing my rating from four stars to five due to the prompt response from the developer .

I always use this app and haven’t had any problems. Until today, when I scanned the Shrek mini figures, I had all 12 in the store. But when I got home Thelonius and Merlin were not there, instead I got dragon and fairy godmother twice. Maybe I didn’t hold the scanner steady enough in the store? Maybe the lighting in the store was different than at home? So I guess I would suggest re-scanning before you open them at home just in case.

Response from developer
On very rare occasions LEGO can swap some packaging in the factory. This is why the scan is not 100% certain, unfortunately. In cane you encounter such an issue you can report a code using the dedicated button in the Help screen. Users who will scan a similar code will then get a warning in the future.

Fantastic app to find out what’s inside mini figure packages
Downloaded the app and was able to check what was inside mystery Shrek Lego minifigures at the supermarket! Fantastic, saved me buying multiple of the same minifigures
Mini figure scan
Used this at legoland windsor to find the right shrek minis in the boxes. It was amazing and worked really well
Really helpful
When I was little I kept on getting the same Minifig (rocking horse girl ) I got five of it. But now I have the app I can finally get the whole series without duplicates and get the ones I want in order!

I have tried several different QR Code scanners. This works the best for me!
Works Very Well
I used the app to find Shrek minifigs and it was completely accurate. You do have to angle the camera and box just right to get it to scan and tell you the Minifig in the box but it’s not nearly as difficult compared to other apps that I have used .

Scanner issues
I have to hold the box arms length away from phone camera to scan & many times it’s not capturing the scan at all

I used to wish that there was an app that scans minifgs so I could get the Minifig I wanted on the box, guess what, it’s true just download this app to get those Minifigs you wanted. 👍🏻👍🏻
