About

Minima is a personal go/no-go check for pilots, built by a pilot who was tired of manually cross-referencing METARs, TAFs and personal minima before every flight. Enter your route and altitude. Minima checks real, current aviation weather against the limits you set — ceiling, visibility, crosswind, and more — and gives you a clear result: GO, CAUTION, or NO-GO, with the actual reasoning behind it, not just a colour. • Real METAR, TAF and SIGMET data, not estimates • Personal minima you set yourself, per aircraft or scenario • Full plain-English explanation behind every result • UK and US airport coverage • Route map, saved routes, and check history • Live tracking alerts if conditions change before you fly Minima is a planning aid, not a replacement for an official pre-flight briefing — you're always pilot-in-command. It's the tool that helps you get there faster, not the one that decides for you.

What's New in Minima pilot

1.1.0

October 24, 2026

What's new in 1.1 - Runway crosswind: head, tail and crosswind for every runway at your departure and destination. Gusts now count toward tailwind. - Arrival forecast: your destination checked against the TAF for the time you actually arrive. - Watch My Flight: check a future flight against the forecasts for that time. - Route NOTAMs: the hazards on your route shown first, the rest counted and tucked away. - New Tools tab: crosswind and wind calculators, with a true/magnetic wind switch. Tap an airfield on your route and one tap fills in its runways. - Route waypoints now include UK IFR fixes and navaids. - One-tap invites: share a link instead of typing a code. - Fixes: BECMG and TAF-end handling, thunderstorms in the vicinity, clock changes and more.
