Focus Has Improved
I always had a hard time focusing because of all the distractions on my screen. I downloaded Minimalist Phone to help curb that, and it worked like a charm. With fewer apps to choose from, I can spend more time being productive rather than getting sidetracked by all the flashy icons. It's a solid app for anyone looking to declutter their digital life.

Less Clutter, More Productivity
I've used various productivity apps before, but this one is different. Minimalist Phone really allows me to focus on the important stuff without all the distractions. Other apps often bombard me with notifications and options, but here, it’s just what I need. My scrolling habits have definitely decreased and I’ve started using my phone for more productive things instead of aimlessly browsing.

Finally a Simple Solution
I've tried a ton of launcher apps but Minimalist Phone: Dumb Mode truly stands out. Unlike other complex launchers that come with a thousand features I never use, this app gets straight to the point: it gives me access to just the essentials. My brain feels so much lighter without those countless icons staring back at me. It's refreshing to have a clutter-free home screen!

Simplicity Done Right
I've experimented with different launchers over the years, but none have been as effective as Minimalist Phone: Dumb Mode. This app doesn’t overwhelm me with options, whereas I’ve found others just pile on features that I don’t need. It’s all about minimizing distractions which has significantly lowered my screen time. Easy to set up and use, I highly recommend it to anyone looking to simplify their phone!

Say Goodbye to Mindless Scrolling
Before this app, I found myself mindlessly scrolling for hours. I've tried other minimalist apps, but they either skimped on functionality or hit you with ads every five seconds. This app, however, is as straightforward as they come. It actually helps me curb my impulsive app-opening habits, and I genuinely use my phone much less now!

I cant select apps
Not apps in the apps select screen
Nice kept up
Nice but add some more own wallpapers and more coustamisation
Doesn’t work
It simply doesn’t work, has a lot of bugs on my iPhone 13. I wrote them a mail for help and they haven’t answered in days. I’ll switch to Dumbify
It’s not as bad as the other comment made it seem
Hi! I don’t typically write reviews but thought I should since the only one that’s published is a dumpster fire. Despite the former reviewers confusing takeaway, they did have a few points. The app feels underdeveloped and rushed. Here’s what I mean:
- When you open it up, you’re greeted by an exact replica of Minimalist Launcher. But, let’s be honest, true originality doesn’t exist in design. I was willing to push through.
- None of the wallpapers are solid or minimal. They’re all AI-generated depictions of nature. Which is annoying for two reasons: 1) I’m an artist who’d rather put my dominant arm through a meat grinder than look at a blurry, incoherent photograph generated by a robot, and 2) my friend, I’m looking for a minimalist launcher to remove distractions, not add more noise. Where are the solid black and white backgrounds? Why do you have random swatches of wallpapers you don’t offer?
- Additionally, the app icons are still here? Not all of them, but when you select an app for your Home Screen, the name and icon are posted. Which is an eyesore, to say the least.
In conclusion, here are my takeaways:
This is an app generated either entirely or mostly by AI. It doesn’t demonstrate an appropriate understanding of minimalism as a whole. And there doesn’t seem to be a lick of originality or design prowess anywhere.
I would recommend the developer revisit their approach, maybe do some hands on research into their competitors (download other apps and test them out for a week or so, then come back to the drawing board). I do like that they don’t take or keep your data (allegedly) but few of the other minimalist launchers do this, so it’s more of a standard than a bonus. And please, please, pleeeaaassseee don’t ask AI to do it for you. Try Fivrr or Upwork or anything else really.

Great alternative to Blank Space
The app is completely free and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for Blank Space Launcher alternatives. The quality is really good, some other Indie developers have made apps with slightly better UIs but considering this one’s utility and free cost, it’s the best.
Are you kidding me? Where are all my apps?
After trying out 3 other minimalist launcher apps, I decided to see if this one was any better. Worst of them all! “Pick your favorite apps from the list below” Uh, you mean I can only select from the BASIC, STOCK apple apps??!? Seriously?? How about Things 3? Or Paprika Recipe Manager? Or MinimaList?? No? This limitation makes this app completely useless. Not sure why this developer released this, as it acts like it’s still in Beta. Never deleted an app so fast!
