MiniPainterDB 1.1 is about what to do with a colour once you've found it. THE PAINT SHEET, REBUILT Open any paint and you get a working sheet, not a data card. VALUE shows how light or dark the paint sits, with a cursor on the scale. LEANS TOWARD puts the hue on an axis so you can tell a warm red from a cool one before you open the pot. SCALE Every paint now has a shading and highlighting ladder. Pick a mode: RANGE for a straight lightness ladder, WARM or COOL for how the colour moves when you mix it towards a warm or cool tone, and WARM LIGHT or COOL LIGHT for how the surface reads under coloured light. When a manufacturer publishes its own ramp, that ramp is shown instead, and you can open it from any of its rungs. SUBSTITUTES AND HARMONIES Substitutes show as many matches as actually exist, with a match percentage. Harmonies now include the inverted colour and each card says where it leads. CATALOGUE 552 Army Painter paints have been added. Paints that are no longer sold are marked as such on their sheet. Product codes appear next to the hex value. Washes and contrasts get their own bottle shape, the way Citadel draws them, and metallic paints read as metal. FINDING PAINTS The brand row has become a filter drawer with a floating pill that shows how many paints match. A metallic filter joins the warm and cool ones. The paint set is shown next to the brand in the list. SHARING AND ACCOUNT Share a paint with a link that opens straight to it. The sign-in, sign-up and password reset screens have been rebuilt, there is a settings screen, and you can delete your account from the app.
