Minipaper is a real iPad app now. Not a stretched phone app: browse gets a proper sidebar, the skeuomorphic styles sit at their true size in the middle of the canvas instead of being pulled wide, and the control panels sit where your hands are. Everything you already made on iPhone is waiting there. The app also speaks 11 new languages: Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch and Arabic. Three new styles arrive with this update and over the two weeks after it. Calendar is here today. A month grid or a week of columns laid over a photo or a flat colour, in five overlay designs. Connect Apple Calendar and your real events fill the grid, or leave it disconnected and keep it blank. Page to any month or week you like, with no "today" marker you didn't ask for. Polka lands in a week, free for everyone. Dots you set the size and spacing of yourself, in macaron palettes, with a heart in place of the circle if you want one. Prism lands two weeks out. Light bent through a solid: choose the prism, cube, sphere, slab, capsule or ring, then choose how the colour splits across it. Plus the usual polish and stability improvements.
