Excellent product and app!

Fan of miniPCR bio, highly recommended. This app works flawlessly with my miniPCR, user friendly, easy to set up, run, and real-time monitor.

Awful and unreliable

This app shuts down constantly mid cycle or will sever the Bluetooth connection to the thermocycler machine. It has wasted so much money in reagents for me, Iโ€™m going to leave the platform all together. What a waste of my time and money.

Response from developer

Hi mommygyver, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with the app crashing. Our app is designed to be stable, and crashes are unexpected. Please contact us at support@minipcr.com so we can troubleshoot this issue with you. We also want to assure you that once a program starts running, closing the app or losing Bluetooth connection will not affect its completion. The program will continue to run as intended. You'll know the program has finished when the three LEDs on the front of the machine remain steadily lit. You can also reconnect to the app to confirm that the run has ended.

App

This app is absolutely atrocious.

Creating QR code

We are interested in developing PCR kits for miniPCR. If possible, the company should add a useful function: the miniPCR application will allow the generation of QR codes from a thermal cycle program. By doing this, PCR kit producer can print this QR code on the their PCR kit manual. The end users just need to scan the QR code from the kit manual to load the program onto their smartphone.
