Filling an important niche
I really love this app/site/community. iOS has so many wonderful games, so curation, reviews, and critical evaluation are especially helpful. These folks do that and their content+weekly roundups make gaming a much better experience for me.
I haven’t really engaged with the community features (discord, writing my own reviews) - I’m just free riding - but I’m very grateful for what they’re doing. Oh, and the app itself is pretty great and functional.

One stop shop🤩🤩🤩
Glad I found out this was an app. Been using the webpage for a while😬. The single fact you can filter things out to find the games your looking for is all I needed. Everything here is updated. Screenshots and review. I’m never leaving 🫡

I cannot express how much I appreciate MiniReview. It is an easy, quick and user friendly way to learn more about games you might want to buy/play. The reviews are quick and easy to read/understand. The best feature is the “browse” function! I had no idea how many games I had been sleeping on. You can filter the browse function with so many different options, you can find exactly what you are looking for. You want a portrait, one-thumb, rogue-lite, pixel art style game? Well if it exists MiniReview has got your back!

My Favorite Way To Find New Games
I have followed the creators for some time and trust the time and effort they put into their reviews. The reviews on this app do not disappoint and some of the most accurate I have found anywhere. This is my go to place now when I feel like trying a new game or when I want to see something similar to one I like.

Love This! But PLEASE add a back button?
I absolutely love this app - it’s incredibly well designed and a perfect way to find the few good games on the App Store in the sea of F2P copy-paste garbage. My ONLY gripe is the seeming lack of a “back” button - if I set up some filters to search for a game and then click on a specific one to read the review, I can’t return to that particular search without re-entering the filters. It’s absolutely possible that I’m just missing it but if not, please add this and I’ll change to 5 stars immediately!

Best place to find games to play
Honestly I got so tired of googling “best ios games” and coming up with generic top rated games. Found SO many gems here. And the reviews are on point.

Does what it says on the package
If you’re looking for somewhere that can help you search for actual enjoyable and good mobile games (not those brainrot mobile-ad games), then this is the app. It has a nice UI, is completely free and gives all the details you need.

It is great that an app like this exists for mobile games, I have never seen anything else like it. Looks great and is super useful.

Good app but
Why every other minute does it keep popping up to ask me to rate or leave a review? Or to ask if I want keep or change my default settings? Blocking the whole screen and disrupting using the app? Why not have a setting section to do all that instead of a full screen pop up? Come on you know that feature is something that annoys people. Also in terms of games listed, there needs to be more quality control. There are games on here that have ads pop up even before gameplay has started, they are not games, they are devs who advertise with gameplay elements. There are games on the AppStore and Appraven with bad reviews and clearly bad devs, but are still listed on this app when they have been highlighted as bad applications. I’ve downloaded some that have been recommended by the owner of Minireview from posts on Reddit. If there are intrusive ads then they are not games. Ask anyone if ads make a game, 100% will say no. Devs need to make money, do it in ways devs have done it for the last 70 years. EDIT to Dev response: Thank you, I do think you are a genuine developer and mistakes and bugs are going to get in the way. If I find these going forward I will send over an email. I think my response came across as a bit stern when I was trying to convey constructive criticism primarily so my bad for that. Good luck going forward, kind regards.

Great app!
Absolutely the best way to find new games. Devs are also incredibly helpful and responsive.
Brilliant
The app is brilliant. The developer is easy to reach out to via Reddit or discord and is very honest about improvements and functionality. It is a great little community and a MUST HAVE app for those passionate about mobile gaming.
Is there no back button?
I feel like I’m going crazy. It has to be there, but I can’t find it anywhere. There’s a lot to like in this app, but it’s frustrating to have to reset my filters every time I look at a game.

Hi, I'm glad you like it overall :) You don't have to reset your filters. In fact, if you click a result and go back, you'll get back to exactly where you left of (the scroll position is kept too). To go back, just swipe from the left side of the screen. Definitely let me know if you get this working (you can also reach me at contact@minireview.io). I'm here to help, and I want to make sure it works for you. Also, I'm constantly improving MiniReview based on feedback. Just launched "negative filters" so you can filter out specific tags. And this can be combined with normal filters so you can find really specific types of games. I really hope you like it and that I can make it a 5-star experience for you. App Store editors take note!
This is what the App Store should look like. Instead it’s all the same freemium garbage (and clones) recommended over and over. This app has actual reviews and lets you browse and find games that are actually good. So glad this exists!
