Needs work
The app used to be pretty good, but it is starting to get pretty outdated and some parts of the app won’t even load. An update or two would definitely help and faster notification times would help too.

When I moved to the district last year the app worked great. I was able to see the calendar with no issue, however, the calendar won’t even load now. Can we please have an update?

Good progress
Progress has been made over the years. Notifications are more reliable. The design has been optimized as well. However... if a notification is going to redirect users to a specific message on the website... I recommend embedding the direct url within the notification so that end users don’t have to hunt and peck for it... The app should elevate ease / convenience. Simply saying there’s a new message on the website falls short.

Could be better
Very happy to see that an update was made, but it could still be much better. The fact that you still have to go to the website to read most stories, or look information up is frustrating. The point of an app is to be able to not have to visit a separate website. If this is truly not the direction intended, then every time minisink.com is mentioned, it should be a hyperlink. It is not. The notification banner is a huge miss. I saw this went missing on the old version and was really hoping it had returned on the update. It used to be wonderful to be able to go into the app and see the banner. Now you have to click into notifications and hope it’s actually there. Many times a notification text would go out, or pop-up from the app, and when you would click on it, there would be no article to view.
All in all, this is okay, but it’s def not meeting the potential of what it could be if you had the right IT folks involved.
