Garbage App
There is not deploy/stow on the remote, how was that overlooked in production?? Worse, this app suddenly stopped pairing with my phone and I had to download I Pilot Link for it to work. No notification, just an inoperative app for controls only. I’m looking forward to getting my remote repaired and returned to me. Don’t rely on this.

Never connects
Really needs to be a connect button on screen. It never connects on any of my devices. Cmon minn kota.

Good idea bad product
Too bad cause I had great hopes this would work.I will save you the headache it doesn’t work well or barely at all .It’s a delayed reaction or it won’t sync.It would have been extremely helpful if it did what it was meant to do but it’s all hype.

Ran out of gas in the canal like 5 mins from the house and forgot the trolling motor remote at home. Paired the motor to my phone and this app got us back to the dock!
Dumb
What an easy and obvious thing to make an app to control the trolling motor. I have iTracks already but you could overlay them with maps and do all kinds of cool things. Been waiting years. Should only take a few days to program.
Never got it to pair with my phone.
I am very tech savvy and could not get this app to pair with the motor.
Minn kota app for I phone
This would be good if you could deploy and stow the motor. I guess they forgot that. It is good that you can update motor through the app though
Deploy/stow capability
My biggest fear is I get out there and my main remote fails and I can’t deploy or stow the motor. I have a micro remote as backup, but it can’t either. Seems like an easy thing to add.
Make compatible with Apple Watch
Please make this app work on my Apple Watch!!! So I don’t have to worry about dropping my phone in the lake. Thank you!!
Apple Watch Control
Just seems like a natural fit. The co-pilot wrist remote was great you have could both hands casting and fishing and control the boat around objects if you hooked up in close proximity. I up graded to the Ternova with spot lock and really regret not having the wrist remote. In fact I would have to remove my Apple Watch and put on the remote and missed not having the watch on. Please make this happen.

App is good for troubleshooting
Not knowing whether I needed a circuitboard or a new hand controller, downloading the app gave me the option to troubleshoot the trolling motor, app works fine I need a new hand controller.

This app would be amazing on Apple Watch. Just having to click a button on our wrist instead of picking up a remote would be amazing.
Works fine as a backup.
Main remote stopped working due to a battery l leak so had to replace. While a waited for shipping the app version while not as easy to use due unlocking phone every time was great to have. Will keep the app for emergencies

The Apple Watch is perfect for this. Simply use for spotlock, thrust and turn. Keep my phone in the pocket!
Too quickly, dangerous
After the latest update, the motorhead changes direction too quickly and is dangerous. A quick response is not always enough.
The slightest touch on the screen of the smart phone will cause it to change direction by over 90 degrees.
I want the Bluetooth back. I want the application to be improved.

Nice backup
It’s nice to have a backup for my remote. Would be awesome if you added it to the Apple Watch.
