Thoroughly Enjoyable
Mix between a reflex game, a puzzle, and a "seek & find" game. I'm not finished with it, but it does go quickly if you're not concerned with gaining 3 stars on each level.
I only have one complaint, referenced above. On some (A Lot) of the levels, the time limit is nearly impossible. I'm amazed that I even passed the level at all; you'd have to be a computer to get 3 stars, even one star, on some. Which is what I believe happened; it seems as though they tested the levels with a computer algorithm programmed juuuust slightly faster than a quick thinking, quick reflexed, quick scanning human. Bottom line, the star times need to be adjusted to be a bit more realistic. (Maybe even if you made it based off of the average players times?)
If that happens, OR, more levels are added, I’d likely raise my rating to 5 stars!
Unfortunately, I had to remove another star from my review (which I hate to do, because I really love this game and haven’t found anything else like it). Something I noticed from the start, but rarely affected me, was the screen formatting. There is a static “frame”, inside of which each new puzzle appears. However, on many many puzzles, the “frame” cuts off the bottom half of the bottom line. It is doable to work around this, especially if you can tell what the letter or number is from the top half, but there are some where it is imperative that you can see the whole puzzle (find the difference for example).
Right now there is a puzzle I can not get past, due to the two problems I’ve discussed. The timer is waaaay too fast, and the bottom is cut off so I am unable to find what I need in the time that I do have. I will be contacting the devs about both of these issues, and if I find them responsive and helpful, again, I will adjust my rating accordingly.
