So smart
Amazing daily puzzles that just “click” in such a satisfying way. The way they work is sometimes a bit hard to understand, like the fodders and indicators, but once you understand how they work, it’s so enjoyable.
Really clever
This is a very cool little puzzle app. I think it would be a much better experience if the devs added a little bit of sound when taping on things which would make the experience more immersive. Also, when using the scribble pad it would be so much better if the buttons that pop up were on the bottom of the pad where our thumbs were. It’s impossible to use that feature with one hand.

Best Game
How does this app only have 26 reviews? This is hands down my most favorite game I’ve ever played. I’m addicted. Wish I could afford a monthly membership.

You’re an app. If I can sign up in the app I should be able to cancel membership in the app. This is ridiculous

Seriously good puzzle app. It gets you into cryptic crossword puzzles with one clue a day. You can play mini cryptic crosswords as a member as well. These kinds of puzzles are a whole new world once you get into them

Love Minute Cryptic but the app needs Dark Mode
I really love minute cryptic and the video explanations. I have really enjoyed being able to play the archive and play the minis. But please please create a Dark Mode as this would massively improve user experience (especially as £7 a month isn’t cheap!).

Challenging and Satisfying
What an amazing riddle game. The feeling of satisfaction when solving a cryptic crossword clue under par or even with no hints used is spectacular! And the daily explanation video is such a treat - it has to be the part of the crossword that I look forward to the most. Great work!! I will be playing this for days and days!

Great puzzle concept
I love the majority of the puzzles and enjoy them in application format rather than a website. Some of the par assignments don’t quite make sense, but otherwise they’re different than other word games.
The premium price is steep considering you only get one game. If it was more approachable you could get more people on board than a price more than nyt’s entire package

Great for learning!
I really like crosswords but cryptics have always been too daunting to me (I never knew where to even start). Not any more!
I love this app because I can now learn how to solve the clues either by using the hints or if I’ve solved it by dumb luck, I can work backwards to see how I could have solved it without the guess work.
I also really enjoy the accompanying videos that show how abstract some of the answers are and how an experienced cryptic crossword solver goes about finding that answer.
