iPhone 13 Pro Max

I did everything I had to do including the $14.99 and ordering a head strap and for my phone to be on the list of phone that you can record on you can’t. It keeps saying phone camera is not supported . SMH and I still haven’t got the issues resolved or my refund ‼️‼️‼️‼️

Honest opinion

The majority of the bad reviews are from users who don’t understand how this industry works. They blame the App instead of understanding how this all works.

Minute is the host, that supplies the company (H5,Taskverse, micro, Indu7 ect.) will call them (the plug) those companies have contacts with the AI groups who have requested the amount of videos. When the quota for that company is met, they tell their plug and the plug tells minute. Minute will tell remove the videos no longer needed.

This isn’t a main job, many having these issues are using it as such. Or recording incorrectly… instead of taking a second to learn how to use this app or investigate how data is collected they get mad and go “bad company, destroy”. Real cave-man style head ache.

This app runs fine, it does what it must.

There are just a bunch of boomer like mentality users, trying to work in an industry they don’t understand …

Hard to make quotas

I’ve been using Minute/Hi5 for about a week and a half, and while I like the concept, there are several things that make the platform frustrating and difficult to use consistently.

First, there simply aren’t enough everyday tasks available. Users are expected to record at least one hour per week to remain active, and you need to earn $100 before you can cash out. At the current $10/hour rate, that’s 10 hours of recordings. But many of the available tasks take only about five minutes—cleaning a litter box, taking out the trash, etc.—while longer tasks such as cleaning out a garage or doing yard maintenance aren’t things most people do every week.

I’ve been on the platform for about a week and a half and have only accumulated around eight hours, and that’s largely because I happened to reorganize my garage, which gave me about 1.5 hours at once. As a single-person household, I may only load or unload my dishwasher a couple of times a week. There simply isn’t enough task volume to reasonably accumulate the hours the platform expects.

Meanwhile, there are plenty of normal household chores that people actually do regularly that aren’t represented. Vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning the bathroom, cleaning the toilet, cleaning the shower, and similar routine chores would all make sense as tasks—especially if the goal is to collect examples of everyday activities that AI or robotics could eventually assist with.

The compensation is another issue. During onboarding, I was told the rate was $13/hour. After noticing that my earnings appeared to be calculated at only $10/hour, I contacted support and was told that the rate had been changed from $13 to $10 effective August 8. I was never notified of that change and continued recording tasks under the understanding that I was earning the rate communicated during onboarding. When I pointed this out, I was simply told that the onboarding materials would be updated. That doesn’t address the work already performed by participants who were given the $13/hour rate and weren’t informed that it had changed.

At $10/hour, I’m also questioning whether the inconvenience is worthwhile. The recording headset is bulky, pulls on your head, and isn’t particularly comfortable to wear while doing household chores. Recordings are also limited to 30 minutes, so if you’re doing a longer task, you have to stop what you’re doing every half hour to end and upload the recording before continuing.

The basic idea behind the platform is interesting, but the task selection, recording process, compensation, and communication about pay all need improvement. If you’re going to require participants to consistently contribute hours, you need to provide enough realistic, everyday tasks for them to actually do that—and if you change the compensation rate, existing participants should be clearly notified before they perform additional work.

Can’t create account

I’m trying to create an account because I don’t have one. but it’s not letting me create one unless I add an invite code but I don’t have one? I don’t understand I thought minute was the organization who wanted the data?

App used to rock! Kaka now

Says my Camera isn’t supported? iPhone 14 Pro has been working fine for 2 weeks plus until now, it now sometimes lets me use it if I turn phone off and on a few times or hard reset it..

Low brightness

The camera needs improvement. Even when recording in a well-lit environment, the videos come out much darker after recording. When I use my phone’s normal camera in the exact same place, the video is bright and clear, but recordings through Minute are noticeably darker. This can lead to videos being rejected for poor lighting even when the actual environment is well lit. Please fix the camera’s lighting/brightness processing.

I really don’t have

I’ve been using for a month almost had it on a phone over five months before the black change app.. but I rarely have any problems with doing my video and upload them on the app. Some of yall that are having issues might need to clean up your phone or maybe I just have an iPhone

Not compatible with iPhone Air

The app installs fine, allows you to setup an account and let’s you complete the tutorial on how to record a task. However, when you attempt to record the task you get a screen that says “Recording isn’t available” because the phone’s camera isn’t supported by the app.

Beware

Closed Accounts Unexpectedly

Iphone 15 suddenly doesn’t work

Worked originally but not anymore

No support. Lost recordings/income. Disappearing tasks.

Wasted a lot of time with lost recordings or video randomly stopped recording. There’s no support, no one will get back you. Also they have took away a lot of the tasks I did regularly… they want you to do 10 hrs a week. It’s going to be hard with less tasks.

Definitely legit

No it’s not a scam but it’s clearly a new company so you can tell they’re just learning the ropes and going day by day but in the meantime you definitely get paid as long as you do what your suppose to 🤷🏽‍♀️

New update?

Just updated the app it randomly stopped my task video at 25 minutes

Not a good start

I literally just started this app and already having problems with recording stopping without knowledge causing lost footage and time and no pay at all. I’m not getting credit for the new achievement pool even after completing them it’s been over 24 hours and still not showing and Also if you’re trying to get help in a timely matter it’s difficult because it’s through the AI text and most of the time i don’t get the help and have to give up with no resolution because I didn’t get the help on time. Overall not happy so far and may comeback a review if things change.

It doesn’t work with most new phones

Why in this day and age will the app not let you record with iPhone 16e? But with an iPhone 12 you’re good to go, it’s baffling I tell you.

Ugh...but also meh

The interface isn't bad. Easy to read. When you record videos is where the issues come in. It'll stop recording without any notification, so you'll think you have 30 minutes of content...but it only recorded two minutes. Ugh
