Inaccurate, slow and time consuming
From logging in entering new patient details and downloading onto patients electronic records took nearly 15 minutes. If you try scans of multiple ulcers the downloading to the portal can take up to 20 minutes . The app is not user friendly and the measurements do not always match the ulcer so you have to enter dimensions manually which defeats the object of the app. I can achieve the same ( if not better) results using my works mobile phone camera and paper rulers which I email to myself and load into patient’s records in half the time. For an extremely busy clinician it is too time consuming.
The best thing about is it arranges subsequent images in an orderly fashion so one can see the progress of the wound.
