What's New for 1.0.7 Secure sessions: when a message could not be read because a conversation's encryption had to be repaired first, Minyma now asks the sender to re-send it as soon as the repair completes, so it appears on its own without anyone having to write again. This also covers notices in the Minyma announcements channel. The "Waiting for a message" notice appears in the conversation the message belongs to, clears when the message arrives, and can be dismissed with a long-press. Messages: when someone is typing, a small bubble with moving dots now appears at the bottom of the conversation, where their message will land, and turns into the message when it arrives. In a group you see who is typing. The header shows presence only. Restore: after restoring Minyma from a backup onto a new device, messages in your groups from members you have never chatted with one-to-one arrive right away, and the device keeps its identity consistent everywhere from the first launch. A message that cannot be read yet because a conversation's encryption is still being repaired shows a "Waiting for a message" notice instead of nothing, the repair starts without waiting, and the message follows once it completes. Privacy: one-to-one messages and their delivery and read receipts no longer carry a conversation identifier that the relay could read while delivering them. Notification banners for those messages still open the right conversation. Devices: Switch or Retire This Device now also stops notifications and incoming calls on the phone you retire, so an old phone stays quiet after you move to a new one.
