I discovered MirageDoodle at a local community event showcasing a new development project in my neighborhood and I was immediately impressed.
The app lets you explore detailed 3D models of proposed projects and give feedback through voice. You can suggest specific features—like adding a fountain, green space, or gazebo—just by saying it and placing it where you think it fits best. You can also share overall thoughts about the design with a simple voice note.
What really stood out to me is how intuitive and fluid the experience feels. I’m never a big fan of typing—especially for something so visual and idea-driven. When you’re interacting with the model, your thoughts just flow. Typing would interrupt that rhythm, but being able to speak directly to the design lets you express your ideas clearly, without breaking your train of thought. It’s surprisingly smooth and natural.
The interface is also beautifully designed—easy to navigate, flexible, and even fun to use. It almost feels like playing Minecraft, but instead of building for fun, you’re actually contributing to something real and meaningful in your community. I really appreciate how accessible and empowering the whole experience is!
