Mired shift calculator used in cinema industry for matching light temperature in Kelvins between different light fixtures or ambient light.
The color temperature calculator (Mired Shift) helps to select gel filters for temperature correction by calculating the Mired shift value and matching the Mired value from the catalog of the gel CTO/CTB filter manufacturer.
Keep in mind for different manufacturers of the same Full CTB/ Full CTO filters, the Mired value may differ. Check with the manufacturers for the exact information about the Mired shift value before purchasing.
