This is the first AR that has actually worked for me and having a paperboy standing on my bed was hilarious, really impressed with how good the AR is. The narration and story is also great. Really original, well done.

Fantastic fun
We took a group of 12-15 year olds to Melbourne and did this as an activity. They had a fantastic time. So much to learn,see and do. A worthwhile activity and the game developers were so welcoming. We’ll be taking more groups.

What a fantastic idea to build an app so true to the historic record of the turn of Melbourne’s 20th century. Obviously a time much more colourful and edgy than today. I like the idea that in playing the game you can be guided through the actual inner streets where all the crime and drama occurred while also getting some tourism done. While I have initially played the game at home in New Zealand it will be top of my list to play it again when next at the actual sites in Melbourne.

Loved the way the story was put together.
The interaction with the characters worked well, especially pouring the wine when I worked out how to do it. I thoroughly enjoyed the historical aspects and the behaviour of the characters involved in the crime. I’m 75 and felt the game was intuitive enough to play through to the end without rushing. It was really good fun!

A great immersive experience!
We were so excited to play this game and found the experience completely captivating! I’ve lived in Melbourne most of my life and knew almost nothing about Little Lon and these diabolical characters. Brilliant for the visitor and local alike! The animation, character voices and music give you a complete package. Great tip to charge your device fully before starting and bring your own headphones.

Brilliant game, even for a non-gamer

True Crime Mysteries
Incredible interaction with real life characters of the Little Lon area of Melbourne’s past. Visually immersive with voices & sounds that transport you back to a different time. All the while, listening out for any subtle clues that would lead you to solve the crime!
Amazing way to explore the city!
Finally an app that gets us out of our home and traversing our awesome city learning about the crazy stories of the past that this city was built on. I’ve learnt more about the true history of this town in a couple of hours than I’ve known over the past 20 years living here! Really love the engagement with the characters and the way the mystery unfolds. This seemed like a stand alone crime but it actually uncovered so much more about the melbourne underworld than I had any idea about before! Great work guys!
