Good Free App

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review and for taking the time to write this up. I tracked down the import issue you described and fixed the bug that was causing already-saved recipes to keep showing up again, and I also improved the import flow after saving.
Amazing!
I do notice that when I search an ingredient I am often cut off after 3 letters and given a "No Results" message. For example if I try looking for black beans, while still typing it cuts off at "bla" and says "No Results".
Still love this app though and will use it forever!

Thank you so much for the kind review and for pointing this out. I updated search so ingredient searches work much better, and I also added search scopes for All, Title, and Ingredients.
Heading in the right direction

Thank you for your review!! I will investigate the issue with images and categories not syncing and apply a fix with the next update.
Wonderful!

This made my day - thank you! The screen staying on was one of those 'why doesn't every app do this?' features for me too. Happy cooking!
Super helpful

I was the same way before building this. Glad it's working for you!
Great Recipe App
Response from developer
Love hearing it's your daily go-to. That's exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks!
Exactly the recipe app I’ve been looking for
The import is ridiculously good. One tap from basically anywhere (websites, YouTube, pasted text, even a photo of a cookbook/recipe card) and it just works. Even messy ingredient lines like “2–3 cloves garlic” or “1 cup (packed) brown sugar” get parsed correctly, which is rare and makes a huge difference when you’re actually cooking.
I also love the philosophy: just recipes, almost nothing else. No social noise, no ads, no bloated meal-planner stuff—just a beautifully organized collection you can sort into collections, search easily, and use in the kitchen (strike-through ingredients, keep the screen awake, etc.). The sharing link feature is super handy, and sending ingredients to Apple Reminders is a genuinely useful touch.
And the built-in AI recipe assistant is the icing on the cake: quick, practical tweaks (halve a recipe, dairy-free swaps) without turning the app into a gimmick.
If you cook even a little and you’re tired of chaotic screenshots, bookmarks, and messy notes—download this.

Wow, this is the best breakdown of what I was trying to build. The messy ingredient parsing was a labor of love. So glad it's working for you. Thanks for taking the time to write this!
