About
Multiplayer card game where you rank real-life, painful, funny, or extremely awkward situations on a scale of 0 (meh) to 100 (miserable). Multiplayer card game where you rank real life, painful, funny, or extremely awkward situations using the Misery Rate, a scale from 0 (meh) to 100 (miserable).
The goal is not to guess the exact number. You must decide where a hidden card belongs among the cards already arranged in your Misery Lane.
-------------------------
HOW TO PLAY!
BUILD YOUR MISERY LANE
Each player starts with three cards arranged from the lowest to the highest Misery Rate. These cards form the beginning of their Misery Lane.
PLACE THE HIDDEN CARD
On your turn, you receive a new card with a hidden Misery Rate shown as ?.??. Place it between the known cards in your lane where you think it belongs.
GAME MASTER REVEALS IS YOUR GUEES CORRECT OR WRONG
The IN-APP integrated Game Master KNOWS the real Misery Rate. If the card is in the correct position, it stays in your lane. If the position is wrong, the other players may get a chance to steal it.
COMPLETE YOUR LANE
Before the game starts, the host selects the target number of cards. The first player to add that number of cards to their Misery Lane wins.

IN GAME FEATURES!
STEALING CARDS
A wrong answer does not always mean the card is gone.
After a player places a card incorrectly, the other players receive a steal opportunity in turn. Each player can accept the challenge or pass.
A player who accepts must place the same hidden card correctly in their own Misery Lane. A successful steal adds the card to the stealer’s lane.
If the steal attempt is wrong, the opportunity moves to the next player. If everyone passes or places the card incorrectly, the card is discarded.
TIME TO ANSWER
Each player has 60 seconds to complete their action, including a normal turn or a steal attempt.
Warnings appear during the countdown. If a player does not respond before time runs out, they are removed from the game.
If a regular player leaves, the game continues. If the host leaves or becomes inactive, the game ends.
PUBLIC AND PRIVATE LOBBIES
Public rooms can appear in the public games list, allowing other players to find and join them.
A room can also be made private. Private rooms are hidden from the public list, and players must use the room code to join.
The lobby shows the connected players before the game begins. The host can review the group, choose the game settings, and start the match.
CHOOSE A CARD DECK
Before starting the game, the host chooses which card deck will be used.
Each deck is a separate collection of situations with its own theme and type of content. Changing the deck changes the cards that can appear during the game.
Choose a deck that fits the people in your lobby. Some decks may contain lighter situations, while others may include more uncomfortable, awkward, or mature events.
CHOOSE THE WINNING TARGET
The host also chooses the target number of cards needed to win.
A smaller target creates a shorter game. A larger target gives players more time to build their lanes and creates more difficult placement decisions as the gaps between cards become smaller.
IN GAME CHAT
Every online game includes a chat for the connected players.
Use it to discuss cards, react to revealed Misery Rates, question another player’s choices, celebrate a successful steal, or continue the argument about where a situation really belongs.
CONTENT NOTICE
Some decks may contain mature, uncomfortable, painful, or sensitive situations.
Choose a suitable deck and play with people who are comfortable with its content.
