Hi jbensman, there is an icon that appears on iPads at the bottom right corner that will enlarge the screen size. Would you be able to provide us with more information on what device you are using and if you do not see this standard icon by emailing us at info[at]misin.msu.edu ? Thank you

Hi Michigan Bob - If you could please e-mail us at info@misin.msu.edu with more information on where in the app it is locking up for you we would really appreciate it. Screenshots of any error messages would also be a huge help with correcting this issue.

Hi GibletsAlsoOkay - the registration page does take a few seconds to load because it is loading an external webpage inside the app. If it does take longer than a few seconds - could you please e-mail us at info@misin.msu.edu so that we can look into this problem you are experiencing. Hi Zekespinkmama - would you be able to e-mail us at info@misin.msu.edu with more information on the device you are currently trying to use the MISIN app on and the issues you are experiencing? Being asked to log in multiple times is not normal behavior so we would like to look into this issue more. Our website also offers the ability to report your observation without needed to scroll through the species list.

It won't load any animals or plants to pick from, and freezes not allowing me to do anything other than a force close of the app.

Location data busted

Prior to software updates, in order to enable the GPS, you had to exit the app and go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Scroll down to find the misin app and select "while using app". An alert message now appears within the app, requesting access to your current location.
