Best Missileer review understanding

As a player who has spent a dedicated two months grinding through this game to unlock and test the entire arsenal, I can confidently say Missileer is a five-star experience on the App Store that offers an incredibly unique system where your playstyle is entirely dictated by the custom ordnance you choose to bring into a mission. The weapon progression is diverse, with each class having an interesting balance of real-world inspiration, capability, and specialized defensive measures to deflect or weaken incoming anti-air attacks. For instance, the baseline RR series sits right in the middle or slightly lower in terms of raw capability, but they carry just enough performance to punch through enemy defenses and excel at long-range strikes if a skilled enough Missileer can pilot them effectively. In contrast, the Project series consists of literal drones featuring swept delta-wings and a loitering munition chassis that heavily resemble the real-world Iranian Shahed kamikaze drone; they are slow but deliver massive, heavy damage when they connect. Moving up the ranks, the Fransisca series visually resembles the US Navy's iconic Tomahawk cruise missile with its sleek fuselage and deployable flight wings, bringing excellent speed and countermeasures to the table alongside a brilliant stealth variant heavily inspired by the modern US military's JASSM. While the Fransisca line is very expensive to unlock and deploy, having a stealth missile that easily defeats enemy defenses is a massive asset that makes it worth every penny. Finally, the ultimate heavy hitter is the Freedom Spear, which appears as a cutting-edge combination of the US military's JASSM stealth body and LASRAM forward-thinking geometry. It possesses massive damage capabilities and decent countermeasures against defending SAM systems, but it carries a very expensive launch cost that makes it a high-stakes choice. If you can land your shots and avoid wasting launches, the Freedom Spear will finish a mission quickly, though its heavier profile makes it harder to bypass defenses completely unnoticed. Ultimately, players can fast-track this lengthy unlocking process by spamming double money while destroying all objective units to save up for those bigger missiles, then shifting to grinding double XP to scale their level and income. The total freedom to choose your own loadout and tactical playstyle gives the game an exceptional level of replayability.

Update

Please update add like katyusha more houses add civilians add millitary troops inside houses and the bunkers

It’s alright

It’s got potential

Hidden gem

Quite frankly I don’t know why this isn’t very popular. It’s got a good gameplay loop, and you always come back - even when you ragequit.

Great game

I love this game it’s great simple and not too easy I highly recommend it

Okay

This game genuinely isn’t the best. It’s fun until you get to the harder III missions. It’s practically unbeatable knowing the fact you lose money for failed missions. A lot of money. This game takes way too much grind and it’s just not fun after a while. Impossible to dodge watch towers + SAM turrets. Please nerf them, it’s genuinely unfun. Uninstalled.

Bad mechanics

The game currency is stupid, shooting missiles during your mission is costing you as much as the reward, cant evade missiles at all, mechanic is pretty bad too. Really had potential its sad

Great but...

The game won't tilt to match your device orientation

Great game

Very entertaining and surprisingly in depth with its systems

Tutorial would be nice

Game looks cool, gameplay itself is kinda fun, but i have absolutely no idea what i’m doing, game never told me anything, and it’s kinda hard to figure out what exactly i should be doing to win and not die every time to seemingly nothing

Would be a fun game, but

This game is a fun little time waster, and it’s got a pretty solid gameplay loop. However, you immediately run into a wall when missiles are introduced in more difficult missions. There is no counter to them and they are extremely difficult to dodge, and they pretty much ruin the game.

Hidden gem

Wonderful concept, perfect use of medium. Fun for casual players and military geeks. The missile knows where it is because it knows where it isn't.

Good game

Pretty nice, would appreciate more upgrade options.

Great game to play when you’re bored

One of the things I like is being able research missiles and add upgrades. One thing that kinda bugs me is you need to grind a lot of money in order to buy the more advanced upgrades and designs. I like the new bounties system which definitely helps with buying new upgrades and designs.

its ight

The grinding is alot since tier 3 missions are really difficult and your missiles get really expensive

Really good

Had since last October, fun to play on and off. Wasn’t expecting an update, but I’m well chuffed it’s here!

SAMs *are* beatable

The SAMs are hard, it’s true. But here are a few strategies that will increase your chances:

(Almost all of these apply to AA cannons too)

Get the HUD upgrades. Essential to know when you’ve been seen and if a missile is in the air.

SEAD: prioritize destroying enemy radar and watchtowers before mission targets

Terrain Hiding: sensors can’t see through terrain, so plot your approach course carefully to stay in the “shadow” for as long as possible. This is even true for AA guns!

Sacrificial missile: launch 2 missiles in quick succession on similar courses. One will die, the other will make it through. Kind of a cool mechanic tbh to be able to switch between them all in flight simultaneously!

Dodging SAMs: get a missile with boost mode, and aim a few degrees to the side. When the SAM gets close, hit the boost and turn sharply towards your target. You may need to upgrade motors.

I had so much fun that I eventually spent real money to do tons of upgrades—to buy the developer a coffee for a great game, AND the game is still challenging even with all upgrades!

Looking forward to more updates!

How to avoid enemy defence guns

SAM missiles are impossible to beat and game gets very repetitive.

The tier 3 hostile missiles are impossible to evade.
Even if you try legitimate tactics such as missile notching or changing your speed rapidly, they are way more maneuverable and quicker than your missile.
The only way to evade these missiles is by evading the game, but, you can switch your employer and get the easy levels, but once you have done those the game becomes unplayable and repetitive.
