Great Weather and Local News!

The weather casts and the addition of local news, as well as covering high school sports and other local events makes this app great. All the people are very professional and you can tell that they love what they are doing! I truly appreciate ALL the advertisers who make this app possible!!!

Most reliable source for our local weather (Hopefully we get CarPlay support soon)

Best weather forecast available to us. Especially to get updates on weather conditions while driving. Love to see my student Caleb as part of this weather forecast team. Hopefully we will get CarPlay support for this app.

Home Away From Home

Late last year I moved to the Washington, D.C. area from Mississippi. Since I’ve been here, I’ve yet to experience a weather forecast even remotely accurate. Even though Matt isn’t reporting on my local weather, his radars for my zip-code are helpful. But, for me - this app isn’t about my weather. It’s about feeling closer to home. I really enjoy the Mississippi live cams on the app both for iPhone and Roku tv. Sometimes it’s nice just to watch the traffic go by on the tv and see a little bit of home. Thanks, Matt!

This is the one

The developer responded explaining how to overcome my previous issue so I’m updating my review to reflect this. The layout of the app is very nice and as always the people hosting the weather service are friendly and obviously passionate about what they do and extremely knowledgeable too. You can trust your families safety to them.

Thank you for downloading! Over time, we are trying to tweak the way that we can best utilize those notifications, and have taken a somewhat heavy-handed direction initially here. Luckily, you can turn off some notifications while leaving others on. In the menu in the upper right hand corner, if you click on the location pin, it will display your monitored locations, and there is a down arrow that you can click and then a pencil to edit the notifications. I hope this helps! Thank you for your support!

Great out of the gate

I’ve been very impressed with the app since it’s 1st day out. I especially like that the live video is at the top of the home page so you don’t have to go searching, and multiple clicks, during severe weather. It’s right there.

It notifies you when they’re going live for the weather reports or severe weather. I really enjoy the live weather briefings. Matt & Gabe are able to discuss what they’re looking at as to why they’re making the calls they are. Way more info than you’ll receive from a local news station.

Weather closings are also prominently shown on the home page.

Notifications

Only problem I see with the app , we need control over what notifications we get , I don’t like the ones every few hours .

Thank you for downloading! There is a way to turn some of those down and off in the menu in the upper right hand corner. If you click on your location, there is a down arrow that you can click and then a pencil to edit the notifications. Best Weather App—Mississippi and Beyond!

This app is hands-down the most reliable weather tool I’ve used. The live severe weather coverage, fast alerts, and radar are top-notch. Even though it’s built for Mississippi, I’d trust it to keep me safe anywhere. The team behind it truly cares—this app is a must-have.
