MSQC app needs major improvements

Frustrated with app. I’d rather not do purchases via the app. If I’m on my iPad or iPhone and try to order through web base I keep getting interrupted to use the app. I end up using my desktop computer. Of note the cart in the app is NOT synced with web-based cart on the MSQC website. When I view past purchases in web it show different details than web-based view. Web-based view is MORE ACCURATE!

A Newby

I really love MSQC! Their tutorials are awesome and I really love their rotary blades! They are some of the best I’ve ever used.

Unsubscribe

I get too many notifications every day.

Why are notifications required?

App update asks you to “opt in” for push notifications but you don’t have an option if you want to move forward and actually use the app.

Quilters Cash?

I would love to give this app more stars, but I have yet to figure out how to use the $13.67 “Quilters Cash” I have accumulated over several orders through the app. You click the button, it looks like it generates a code that you can copy but when you “paste” it into the only available text box, it tells you it’s invalid. So, I guess I’ll have to haul out the laptop, login, and order through the website to spend it.

App Store

Cannot understand how to work , do not want it on menu!

Unauthorized

Bought through safari, never downloaded app, got notification couldn’t stop. Downloaded app now and deleted but we’ll see…

Not Worth It

UPDATE: still a garbage app. It’s baffling to me the first products to appear in any search are out of stock.

There used to be a feature to filter out “out of stock” products, but now you can doom scroll through page after page of ish you can’t buy. At some point, some of my Favorites lists disappeared and it’s so difficult to add any product to a Favorites list or create a new one bc the pop-up menu doesn’t fit the screen of my mobile device. And finally, shipping is slow.

Very Helpful

This site is very well organized and easy to navigate, offering the latest products for sewing and quilting. The daily deals you sign up for are great bargains on essential items. Very high quality products at fair prices w/ fast delivery every order.

This app used to work very well and Now is not

This app worked for years for me easy to shop now it is not. It will not update. Definitely disappointed. I had to delete the app to shop online.

Bad App — Good Store

The app was slow and bypassing it was hard. Finally, just deleting it. Shopping on their website is better.

Missouri Star website search

I do not understand why Kona & sold out are always first in searches.

Will look elsewhere for quilting supplies ☹️

This app is okay , but doesn’t allow any direct contact with customer support. The ‘BUNDLE’ option is a scam - you risk not getting stuff ordered initially because they wait a WEEK to pick your order and then don’t have the product anymore to fulfill your order

Want old app back!

Don’t know what they did to this app but it’s not an improvement. It’s very hard to maneuver around. The old app was so easy. Why do people think improvements are better. This one was not!

Silly restrictions on this app

It baffles me in the state and age that as an account holder with this retailer, I have to use a web browser to view my wish lists and favorites that I’ve saved because for some reason they’ve eliminated the ability to view these items in their app. MSQC really needs to fix this. What’s the point in downloading the app if you can’t access the items you’ve saved to shop for later? If they’re trying to drive us to only use the web browser version, then why even offer an app. Uninstalling immediately.

Love MSQC, But Not the App

The app is clunky and will not allow you to zoom in on pics, it doesn’t go back to lists well and makes shopping more challenging than shopping online. I will stick with the website for now.

App is beyond buggy

As a quilter who recently visited the Missouri Star Quilt shops, I was really disappointed in the app. Tried to create a user id. Error when verifying that too many user ids were created (??). So I tried continue as guest
The App literally had a ad banner at the top telling me to Open the App!!! For a laugh I pushed open and got a too many inapp browser windows error. Good grief!
Hire a real developer and don’t be too cheap to get a beta tester before releasing updates this isn’t even usable

Lame

I LOVE shopping at Missouri Star, and I LOVE the Block Magazine, but this app is terrible. You can't go "back," you can't see your magazines, etc. I suspect it was created just to get around the browser plugins that find coupon codes for you.

Not happy with changes

What has happened to my favorite quilting app??? I’ve been away from quilting for a little while, trying to get started back, open this app and wow. I do not like this new format. I just wanted to see the familiar list of all the quilt tutorials, especially Jenny’s tutorials, but it is nowhere to be found. I tried doing a search, then filtered it by “quilt tutorials” and “Jenny.” Clicked on a video, watched it, but then couldn’t get back to the search page. No back button to be found. So I tried starting over but nope, couldn’t even find that page that let me filter search results.

Why clutter up an app of tutorials with all that extra stuff and then make it so difficult to navigate? I’m so disappointed.
