Quitting is the only problem
This game was actually fun and challenging, but as the other reviews have mentioned, quitting the game cannot be done. Literally had to unplug my iMac to exit. Option return does not work, and putting the cursor at the top of the screen doesn't drop down the tool bar like it does in every other game I've played. Once this issue is solved, I will go back and play it again. This game will be incredibly fun once this is fixed.

Mistico: $4.99: Scam or Joke?
If this were a free game, it would be one thing. But it’s not. If the description said there are going to be 5 Parts, this is Part 1, buy the game now (to help fund the development) & as the rest become available, your game will be updated. THAT would be one thing, but it’s not.
The FULL GAME walkthrough is 12 MINUTES! That’s not a game, that’s a prelude. 12 minutes is an opening. ESPECIALLY with the intentional cheater brand name, the intentional name recognition with gamers designed to deceive you into thinking this game is going to be like “Myst.”
For perspective: when “The Room” came out it was free. A year later, they started charging $1. “The Room 2” $1.99. “The Room 4,” “Forever Lost 1-3,” “House of Da Vinci 1-3,” “The Witness,” are $4.99 games.
I don’t even know who to be mad at. The designer for charging $4.99? Or Apple for allowing it? I’m shocked that there was no one at Apple whose job is to vet games before they go up on the store, that said: charging $5 for THIS would, not only make the game feel incomplete, but it would be a poor reflection on us as a company & would leave our customers feeling ripped off.

Too Short given the price
Considering you are paying for an App, you would expect it to last a decent amount of time- unfortunately this does not >>> don’t waste your time or money
Decent little game
Basic in its presentation, but the puzzles are challenging enough without being ridiculously difficult.
Would have preferred the game to be a bit longer and to have a hints section along with a camera facility for recording important findings.
Certainly worth a go as long as you don’t pay too much for it.

Fabulous 🤩
Another superb game from this great developer, I constantly check to see if there’s a new game on offer, it frustrates me that ppl moan games are too short when they are so cheap to play, do ppl not realise the time and effort that goes into them? I’m ashamed for them. I think the price point is perfect for the fun on offer and am so grateful for the hardwork that leads to my entertainment. Please keep making theses lovely point and click adventures?

Not up to par with competitors
I can appreciate the hard work it must take to make a video game, but this effort doesn't really meet the bar of a sellable app. The puzzles are not intuitive, and can seem arbitrary. The 'Option-Return' exit of the game did not work for me, and I had to 'force quit' in order to leave the game. I do applaud your effort as a 'one man show', so to speak... but perhaps this project needs a few more people to measure up to the competition, and function smoothly. Best of luck to you.

Inital Review
Fist off, I cannot exit the game. I'm unable to enter windowed mode and Option-Return doesn't work either.
I'm not ready to give up on the game yet... but need to be able to save and exit the game without resorting to a FORCE QUIT.

Atmosphere yes, story and puzzles leave you wanting
Impressive effort from a solo developer. I bought the game on sale for 99 cents, don't think it justifies a higher price (in comparison to other titles).
This offers a high level of immersion and foreboding (feels similar to great titles like Meridian 157, Adventure Beyond Time) that isn't quite fully realized with the story progression.
The puzzles are pretty run-of-the-mill, with an over-reliance on figuring out safe combinations.
Hoping for greater variety and depth in future titles.

Fun Adventure Game
Good fun and well worth the price!
Need a hint
Could I get a hint for the code at the lighthouse.
“Illustrations of plane might help”???

fun but glitchy
for one, I couldn't exit the game unless i forced my mac to shut down. Also some of the puzzle answers didn't work, had to input numerous times or shut down, start again, only then did the answer work. The safe dial didn't spin all the way around, almost gave up, had to "spin" the pointer around 10-15 times for it to get to the higher numbers. but overall, i liked the story, the puzzles were medium difficulty, a fun way to spend 20-30 min.

Good but short
Nice little game but way too short, I’ve farted longer than this game goes on for.
Avoids the hidden object annoyance
Good puzzles, no stupid hidden object based puzzles which is great. Dev creates puzzles which are at different levels of challenge - but all with logical answers
Nice Game
Enjoyed playing very much! It was a relaxing way to spend an hour playing an escape game frustration-free
Very short for a paid game
I do feel like I just paid for the privilege of beta testing this game because it’s incredibly short and seems a little underdeveloped. I’ve played free games that were twice the length. However, MUCH credit for enjoyable puzzles (as opposed to hidden object rubbish). I like these sorts of games and wish to support the development of many more. Hopefully ones with more than an hour’s gameplay :)

Pretty good
Just came back to this after completing Camp Enigma 2 and enjoyed it.
Not very long but quite good all round, would love to see more puzzles included and a bit longer but I think this is a single person developer so pretty impressive really.
Look forward to more in the future

Not too bad, but a bit short
The game shows promise, but could be longer. It took less than half an hour to complete the game, and I’m glad that I got it on sale.
As for the puzzles, it would be nice to see more inventory based puzzles and fewer puzzles where codes need to be figured out in order to proceed. Also, some areas on the screen can easily be missed, particularly one area near the end where you need to tap on the far left side of the screen.
These are just suggestions, and I hope that the developer will consider them in future games.

Top response
Had a bit of a problem driving me mad. Tweeted the developer and got an immediate response and suggestions which enabled me to progress. Great game, great support 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Early days
I have just started playing this game and it is appealing from the point of view of relevant hints and Paths to follow. It seems to be oversimplified, but that isn’t always a bad thing.
It seems basic though and I am hoping this improves with greater challenges. I will review when I have played the game fully.

Not much of a story
For those who like escape room-style games, this is not a bad way to spend an hour. Like most games in the genre, the puzzles are not related to the story. In fact, there isn’t really a story at all! Controls are fine, except it would be nice to have a way to highlight the hotspots. And the visuals are impressive, especially for a solo developer. I hope the developer will make more games with a more suspenseful story—this is a promising start, but there’s plenty of room for improvement.
