The App is great

The app does exactly what I need. The only issue is the limitation of the free version. But 100€ for the full-version ist just a rip-off. Especially since the price doubled a while ago (without doubling the features).
So, just stay with the free version as long as it’s free…

Did you check What’s New section? We are updating app regularly. A lot of new features! Of course we respect your opinion, but this is professional app, check others … for the same price or even higher price you get audio playback. Come on …

What?

Tried adding audio file into lite version. Nothing worked. No incentive to purchase the full version if I can't test it first.

Great for Audio Cues, DMX is unreliable

I like this app a lot. No issues with running audio cues, option to fade in and out, loop, volume control, plus lots of other features. Coming from Soundboard Pro which hasn’t been updated in a few years and was very unreliable just playing audio tracks.

The DMX capability is genius, however it worked great sometimes (starting a Chauvet 1600 fog machine and a Froggys Fog F4 with a music cue- also genius), but other times the cues would start but would stop responding to our next DMX cue which was simply all faders down to shut the fog machines off. I was sometimes able to manually adjust the DMX fader within the cue and it shut off. Like I said it worked really well sometimes, but not consistently. For our show yesterday I went back to my laptop for DMX a few hours before showtime which was completely reliable. Hope you can find the bugs and I’ll update my review.

Thank you for the review. Please send an email to info@mix16apps.com and we will solve your issue. If it is a bug it will be fixed asap. If it is just software + hardware problem we need more info about your DMX device and how it is connected to MiX16 Show Cue (USB, WiFi, etc.).

Brilliant App

I used to use a laptop on stage to manage all my band patching & video playback.
I have wanted to change to an ipad for ages but wasn’t able to until I discovered MiX16 apps.
Only then was I able to rely on an iPad on stage to do the same job every gig but with a lot less gear & patching.
Team it up with Bluetooth midi controllers & it just works… every time.
Also, absolutely first class support from the developer.
I don’t think Grega sleeps as he always answers pretty much straight away.
Cannot rate this App high enough… thank you.
